Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

The scent of blood filled the air as vor cried in pain. A leather like thorn whip cutting along the soft flesh of his back. It was harsh but needed he knew as he cried out in pain. Each slice of the whip cutting deeper into his skin as the air along the openings stung with pain.

Images flashed as a young child like vor held a small rabbit. Dead from falling when he tried to carry it with him so he would see the world like vor himself. Sadly it fell out of his hands and hit the floor, a puddle of blood laid on the ground.

The feeling of lost filled his heart and mind.

With a shout of pain and hate vor rose with a start. Sweat dripping from his skin as he found himself warped around Zaira once more like normal. A soft sound leaving her lips as she stirred.

Day slowly breaking the dark embrace warped around them. They were in her tent that now was more or less living together. Fall was here and vor was still feeling odd about not eating her yet somehow turning into more.

The sleeping body shifted in the arms that held her as the body they belonged to stirred, and the arms tensed. Yet when the body beside her moved with a jerk and spoke with a start, blue eyes were open wide, and eyes looked for a threat, a sign of a raid, something. But it was just them. Just her Vor and herself alone in the tent, with the skies not yet lit beyond the fabric.

The pale one panted, and a moisture sheen his skin. Her fingers rose, coasting along the skin of his jaw with care, a worried puzzled look upon her features as she looked upon him.

“Are you well?” There was more warmth in those sleepy tones than the words spoken by the woman. Her hand cupped his face before her body laid back down upon the roll at his side looking up.

His breathing slowed as she talked. He was shaked up but he slowly became his normal self. "Yes. Sorry I had an nightmare." He said softly as he took her hands within his.

His hands were larger then her's some but he was gentle as he closed his fingers around her. He was smiling at her but it was a soft and tired like as he moved laying his head in her lap.

He was like a large cat with fangs and claws. He would not hurt her and she knew that. Nightmares were such a evil thing with him but he was glad he did not move around and hurt her with his claws.

"Did I wake you?"

The sleepy smile came easily as Voreasos took her hand within his, his fingers moving over her skin before resting his head upon her lap.

Amusement tinted the tired smile as she raised a hand to run her fingers through shining strands of hair, petting, and touching the man as she desired. Her harmless nails trailed along his skull as he spoke/

A yawn disrupted her response before it was given yet her hand upon his head was reassuring.

“Sleep will return soon.” She showed no annoyance at being woken, the easy response to sleep returning came as her fingers danced over his jaw and slow down his neck.
