While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

"Hey! Arthy get over here and hlep us set up our tent will you?"
He yelled. "Arthy?" No reply came from the young child. "for qayala's sake, skipping duties again?" He grumbled, no matter, he would get him back later. It always went like this. Arthy didn't want to work, arthy tried to get out from his chores. I did his chores and later he wished he didn't skip his chores when his older sister got her hands on him.

The scarred man just shook his head in distaste and looked back to pile of poles and the tentsail he was supposed to put up. This was going to be a pain in the arse again wasn't it? He picked up a few poles, trying to remember how the heck those things worked again. Those two big ones had to be put upright and and connected by the last one.. he thought. He pulled the sails away and began to work with the poles itself. They didn't want to stay upright.

"Does the sail keep them upright then?" He wondered out loud as he looked to the pile of two sails that he had.. Which one was the one that had to be put up?

The Kabrin was generally safe to travel on due to the knight patrols, and such was the case this time. They had left Syliras some days ago on their way south back to the marshes to continue their seasonal hunting. The next stop would be Zeltiva, but that was only after they brought their haul in for the season; for now, they just needed to get down. Maybe some of the deer from the grasses had drifted out this time! It was unusual for them to catch that kind of prey, but Lukyc could bring down anything like that.

Issy was seated behind Lukyc, her short tail flicking back and forth against the horses flank while she groomed one of her paws. The steady clump clump clump of the beasts hooves on the road was a calming melody; however, it did not dampen the noises of something up ahead. The serval sat up and peeked around her bondmate towards the noise, mewling quietly before rubbing her head against Lukyc's back. She sent sensations of awareness through the bond, large ears focused on the noises.

Someone was shouting up there in the fading light and making enough noise to summon a Kriital. The kelvic let out a low and disapproving growl at these thoughts before shifting some and balancing on the moving backside of the horse. Lukyc spared a glance back at her, tickling her tail before she jumped down and telling her to be careful. Issy just chirped at him then hopped lightly down, her long legs easily supporting her.

She walked alongside the horse for a few moments before dashing ahead, the fading daylight burning through her tawny and spotted coat. A few moments later, she was out of sight of the horse and human and heading towards the noise. Only when she came within sight of it did the serval slow and eventually stop, standing at the edge of some grasses, just visible with tall ears raised. The bell and string around her neck bounced softly against her fur, tinkling as she drew to a halt and stared at the group before her.

It looked like a caravan; they must have been stopping for the night, though, because many were setting up tents. One appeared to be a young man, twenty something if she were to guess, working on getting a tent up. It was much bigger than the little four person tent she and Lukyc shared; were all of them going to sleep in it? The serval chuffed curiously and moved closer, her feet silent in the grass and the bell muted against her fur.

He looks like he needs a hand.

She thought, sending the sense of safety back across the bond and hearing the increased clip-clop of the horse pushed into a canter somewhere on the road behind her. Issy moved closer and eventually stopped, lowering her backside to the ground and sitting with that short tail curving against her flank and head tilted silently at the figure.

I should help.

It took barely a thought before the serval was replaced in a bright flash of color and light by a woman, her short black and brown hair streaked with gold and her eyes large and bright, grey-gold irises staring at the man as she stood there. She was a little taller than your average woman, slender, and very much without clothing. It was impossible to wear clothes between forms, afterall.

As soon as she shifted, the woman reached up and untied the bell from her neck (for it had been lose enough for her to do so without worrying about choking if she shifted). Then, with the bell and string palmed, she smiled and said, in case the young man had not noticed. "Hi; you look like you need a hand."

Anton gave the tent a withering glare as he took a step back hoping that this time the poles would stay upright. It was a strange contraption he managed to set up. If he had to be honest, it didn't look like how the tent had looked last time it had been set up. As to prove it's point that he was wrong in setting it up, it crashed into the ground. The pile of poles and tent sail almost as if it was mocking him. “Petching tent.” He muttered as he went over to gather up the materials and try again. Hopefully he would get it right this time.

He looked up from his work as a flash of light went off. Was somebody messing around with a torch or something? He was about to go back to his work when somebody spoke to him. Asking if he could use some help. A Grinned widly as he turned around. “By Qalaya I sure can useahh!” He went as red as a cherry, the scars on his left side of his body standing out as harsh white lines. His happy grin falling into a look of complete mortification. “By the gods put some clothes on!” He quickly took of his coat and threw it towards her before turing away from her in embarrassment. “just tell me when you got it on. Why are you walking around naked in the wilds?” she didn't look or act like an escaped slave. So she was here of her own will, but why was she naked.. Wait. His brain filled in a few blanks. “Are you a kelvic?”

The young mans reaction was pretty typical. Lukyc hated when she did that with others, but the shifter simply couldn't understand why it bothered him and others so much. She couldn't shift with her clothes on, afterall! Besides, as long as it wasn't too cold, the birthday suit was nice to move in. That aside, Issy laughed, grinning and taking the offered coat, but only hanging it over her arm for the moment, aware of the muffled cadence of the horse they rode in on growing nearer.

"My clothes are where they belong right now. They'll be here in a few chimes or less, I imagine." She replied casually, approaching now and stopping beside him with the coat still hanging over her arm. The kelvic planted her free fist onto her hip and stared at the messily set up tent with a look of consternation. "That's a right mess, that is. But we can sort it out, no doubt!" The shameless woman even went so far as to bump against him before striding ahead. She lifted the coat up to her shoulder but simply draped it there, instead, and reached for one of the cockeyed poles. "Why don't you grab the other side and pull until the top is taut. Then line it up and make sure the poles are perpendicular to the ground!" She had not yet answered him on whether or not she was a kelvic, choosing to simply stand on the other side of the tent and wait for his help.

When she approached he thought she had put on his coat, so he thought it had been safe to look. Ohh he hadn't been more wrong about something in his entire life. Except of course when he tried to open that portal without knowing what was on the end. He had been very wrong about the fact it couldn't hurt. Instead of a half decently clothed person he got an eyeful of her naked body. He was wondering how he was still concious, he was so red anton guessed at least half of the blood in his body had to be in his cheeks alone.

"er.e...d." Anton tried to say something to her comment about her clothes. But his brain didn't quite manage to string the words together, or even find the vowels and consonants to make a word. He looked away from her, mortified and not really sure what to do with the as good as naked woman who didn't seem to mind she actually was naked at all. His mind got back on track when she began talking about the tent.

"Yeah I know, yesterday it was me older sister and younger brother who put it up. He was supposed to help me put it up today. Since I haven't done it before. But the little shyke isn't around. Decided he rather goof of then help me. So I'm in the shyke." He rattled off the sentence, trying to keep his mind on the annoyance he felt for his brother rather then the fully naked woman standing right next to him. He moved over to other end of the tent. grabbing the parts she talked about. 'you'll have to look at her now, can't do this without looking at her. By qayala keep your eye son her head and don't stare at her boobs!' he mentally screamed at himself as he swallowed. he pulled on his side and then tried to do the thing with the poles she asked of him. He looked up and saw the woman. 'don't look at her boobs, don't look at her boobs.' He repeated that mental mantra as he forced his attention on the work.
"So I didn't get your name yet." He hurridly said. "Mine is anton, yours?"
