Tates is a thief. As such, it is often in his best interest to take the shape of a human, to not arouse suspicion. He’d a clever man, though has a soft spot, rather uncharacteristic of other Dhani, for women, regardless of race. He’s promiscuous, and outspoken, though knows when to keep his mouth shut to save his own skin. He is, in truth, some what of a coward.

At first, Tates took to thievery to fully master his three forms. Eventually, he did it for the thrill, and finally out of greed. He travels often and poses as a regular human more often than not. Only when it comes to fists and cuffs does he flaunt his Dhani form—though being a snake helps to make a quick get-away. He worships the Goddess Caiyha.
