Male Svefra Seeking Pod

Are there any player-run Svefra Pods out there accepting new members? Otherwise I'd be willing to collaboratively start one, or join a Pod led by a NPC Lia (given there are other PCs in it). Alternatively, if there is no Pod action out there, where are the Svefra at, if anywhere?

My PC is very WIP at the moment, and I wanted to check for a Pod before posting a CS, since it's such a major part of Svefra life. I remarked the Suvan Sea forum to be relatively dead, which is why I post this here. Ignore my profile's name and race. I will change that accordingly when I have confirmation that there is a social haven for Svefras out there.

Hello! I am looking at creating a Svefra character as well. I'd love to co-create a Pod or join one with you. I'm not sure where Svefra players tend to go; the Suvan Sea has no Storyteller according to the City list. Perhaps they're hiding on the coast of a city.

I should also mention I'm as new as they come--I've been reading Mizaharian lore for the past week or so. This would be my first character here, though I've done some roleplaying in the past.

It would be cool to create a Pod together! Unless we find an already established one, I'm all for this. Were you planning to play male or female? If we're going to start a new Pod, we would need a Lia, who is female.

And yeah, with no Storytellers in the Suvan Sea, it would be difficult to start up anything there, especially for a new member like myself. Too bad that's where the Svefras are supposed to be located. In the Player Guide in the Suvan Sea forum it even states that a Svefra has to be a part of a Pod, and the housing vessels one can start with cannot fare the open seas. So we're stuck in the Suvan Sea. But are we really dependent on a Storyteller? I'm not too familiar with this system yet, but if nothing else comes to light we could start RPing in the Suvan Sea without one?

Okay, option 1:
According to someone in the chatroom we can still start in the Suvan Sea, and then Storytellers from neighboring cities should be willing to help grade threads. Maybe that will give us a good opportunity to play in multiple locations/visit cities nearby.

option 2:
We aren't truly stuck in the Suvan Sea; we can start in any city if we give a backstory. The Svefra race description mentions that some Svefra are outside of the Suvan; As far as I know we could be part of a pod on a coastal city, or be separated from our pod if we chose a non-coastal city.

What do you think? I think I vote we make a pod on the Suvan Sea, but I'm open to either option. I'm planning on making a male as well--we could use an NPC Lia, or we can keep looking for players to join us until we get a female character haha.

I think the trick is indeed to try and do it with a few other people, all starting at once in the same Pod.

I also vote for the first option. Very late here, so I'll have to sleep on the specifics. It would make most sense though, if our characters were related somehow - maybe even brothers? Using a NPC Lia would work, but if we start out with a NPC Lia, it would pose problems if a PC presented itself later on. We should take awhile to plan this thing and try to gather as many as we can before we actually start, to prevent it from falling apart early on.

A Svefra RP, in my mind, needs a cast of family and friends making up their Pod. Anything else would be a mutilation of their culture.
