A surreal cavern city inhabited by Symenestra where stones glow and streets are reams of silk. Cocoon like structures hang between stalactites and cascade over limestone flows in organic and eerie arabesques. Without a Symenestra willing to escort you, entrance is impossible.

The forest was a beautiful place, even during this time of year. The large layer of snow made all the sounds in hearing distance muffled. The sun that touched the ground reflected off the white blanket, making it seem brighter then it really was. Traveling through this place on foot, it may seem to some that it was abandoned and virtually lifeless, but to the pale skinned woman sitting on a low branch of a tree, she could see so much more.

Above her, small birds hopped around the sticks and branches, tweeting happily at each other and chasing each other around. The girl's golden eyes followed the birds, shifting from bird to bird as they bounced in an out of her view. She was completely alone for the time being and that was fine with her. A cold wind pushed gently past her tree and picked up her hair, whipping it around her face with a gentle ferocity. The girl was wearing a thick cloak made of dark purple silk and lined with white fur. It kept her warm, matched with a silken and fur lined scarf that was wrapped around her neck.

Hung over her shoulder was her bow, and attached to her side was her quiver in arrows in case she would need them. A rope was tied around her waist, hanging from them were four bird snares in which Synntina hoped would catch a bird or two for her today.

A little less then a week ago, the girl had promised a Symenestra woman, Sayani, a live bird in exchange for her teaching her the basics on how to fish. One could guess how it went down, since Synntina was sitting here now, enjoying a bit of a rest before going out to set the snares. If she didn't manage to catch a bird in this way, her plan was to shoot one out of the sky by slicing through their wing and dragging them down with an arrow.

She realized that she had no way to really, carry the bird back, so she hoped for a smaller bird that she could just tuck into the knapsack of her side. If not, she would have to carry the bird back. Which could result in a multitude of scratches and pecks on Synntina's skin. The pale woman turned her eyes from the small, finch like birds and down to the ground. It was light out, a little bit after dawn, which is why the woman was resting. She had been out since before the light, excited to get out of the city for awhile.
