Tucked away between the Valkalah Academy and the Bluevein River is a group of small domed buildings, each between three and four feet in height, clustered tightly together. The whole complex is surrounded by a flower garden, filled with the statues of those who came before. This is where the Pyve of Riverfall can be found. They form a small community of about twenty individuals, most of them either less then 3 or more then 15 years of age. Though they are considered annoying by most inhabitants of the city, life in Riverfall is good for Pycon. Plenty of clay is available through the Bluevein river, the warriors surrounding them provide ample protection, and the lively city provides enough experiences to keep their curiosity satisfied for quite some time. In return for the hospitality of the city, the Pycon provide Riverfall with small hands for detailed craftwork, as well as all kinds of entertainment. Visiting Pycon are welcome in the Modellers Quarter for the duration of their stay, though a high standard of behaviour is expected. There is enough prejudice against the small clay men as is. It was in Riverfall, however, that he found the challenge that would ultimately shape him. Like so many in Riverfall, he arrived in the city having been rescued from a slave caravan. In their wisdom, the council decided that he could repay his debts by descending into the mines for them. The work suited him, and the challenge appealed to him. Through his size, he could reach places where the larger races couldn't come. His flexibility allowed him to avoid most accidents, and if an accident did happen, he managed to recover quickly like most Pycon would. After two years of service in the mines, he was granted permission to live with his fellow Pycon, where his experience in the world immediately gained him Eldest status. He still has to put in long days at the mines, though. Mannequin strongly encourages his fellows in their pursuits, offering all manner of advice.
