Hactol

Hactol is a patient lumbering Sun Bear. During the day he appears a deep chocolate brown with a golden nose and sleepy eyes, the faintest twinkling sparkles imbedded in his translucent coat. When he appears at night his coat is jet black, seeming to blend in with the stars, yet you can discern his movements both by his golden muzzle as well as the bright white starry pinpircks in his fur.

Hactol is not much for words, but when he does speak it is wise for Ikaika to listen. He is the promoter of trust and relationships that the young Chaktawe seems to be more frivolous with, and will appear at times of great inner turmoil with calm and comfort. Sometimes when words are not enough his furry embrace will be given instead, and in desperate times during Ikaika's journey from Ekytol Hactol even carried his young charge.

Character Personality
Now you are dealing with a girl who likes to teasingly seduce people. Congratulations. Of course she wasn't always like this, There was a part that used to love, That used to be tender like a mother to her child. It was hard for her, to get over the idea that somebody can be gentle and still make it outside of her tribe. That was the influence her mother gave onto her. Staying with the tribe and family is the key to true survival. But listening to her mother would mean that being a good child and Ikaika' enjoyed being playful, troublesome. After her mother gave birth to Ikaika' and Halia it changed her. She was independent, Curious, and adventurous. But that was not what her mother wanted to see in her eyes, She needed to be sweet, compassionate, and above all else. A woman who was ready to sit at home with her abundance of children. There was one time in her life where she was able to love somebody. Her younger sister. She loved her with so much heart and to see one's life being shredded and ripped from her grasp. It devastated her, Turned her inside out. Lonely. Ikaika' is a lot like a puzzle. You can take your time in trying to figure it out but if you lose one piece then you'll never know what the picture was. It could have been warm but all you have now is a blob of color and uncoordinated images. Instead of her inner personality her outer. Well, Lets just say she love toying with people. Manipulating them with her sweet words and calling touch. If there is a party then you are most likely to find her there. If there was a possibly of a crush arising then she would normally be jealous. Feeling that if you were to have her heart then they don't have to be eyeing the local females.

Character History
Life wasn't that hard in the large area of sand and heat. Painfully spending days watching her sister's and brothers. That was something she Most of Ikaika's child hood was decent enough, Except for her beginning of adult hood. It was her choice to flee from her home. Her nomadic home. It was her choice to run, Like a coward. Playing games with the children, Learning how to defend herself. To be Independent. Most of that ended once her warmth ripped from her. First her mother came down with White fever, She was the first to go. Ikaika' remembers the clammy substance that covered her mother's forehead and hands. How the weight on her chest put her to rest. It was a harsh decent, Her father considered ending the suffering and taking their life into his hands and crushing it. For that she will never forgive him for doing it. If she was unable to watch her mother than she would rather die than let her out of sight. Their screams burned in the back of her mind, How they sputtered mindless words. Ikaika' blames herself for not doing the impossible. Her youngest sister's White fever was dragged out, It felt like eternity. The day her sister was taken from her there wasn't anything she could do, There was nothing left for her there. Ikaika' took what little she needed, Stole some of her father's money and took off. Running. With her padded feet burning on the hot sand, she ran most days until she could see bright stars in her eyes. There was actually no valid reason except for Ikaika' dreaded having to stop and watch as the world took off without, moved on. Her first to stop running except for she That is when she came stumbling into Ravok. It was her choice to refrain from her searching.Image

Family Life

Mother :
ImageName: Ikaika' the giving
Status: Deceased
Age of death: 48
Cause of death: White Fever
Guardian: Golden Hawk
Birthing Child Number: 2
Husband: Alekaneklo the protector
A stern mother she was but it was all for the sake of her children staying alive. Although her mother died at what was called a, "young age". Normally her guardian came to her the least, Ikaika' the giving was always protective and watchful of two children. Ikaika' the giving was only able to give birth to two children before her death, Ikaika' and Halia. It was a shame she was unable to birth more children but that was all she could do before the White fever hit.

Father :
ImageName: Alekanekelo the protector
Status: Alive
Age: 52
Gaurdian: Luminescent Tiger
Wife: Ikakia' the giving
Alexkanekelo was a very distant person, Showed little compassion when it wasn't necessarily needed. During Ikaika's mother's death the only compassion he could offer was a pat on the back or a awkward conversation about how Makutsi and Eywaat were watching over and if the time came for her mother to be gone, They'd be the ones to take her. Most conversations were one sided, She feared to argue with her father when he was in a bad mood or just caught word of how Ikaika' managed to weave herself into more trouble.

Sister :
ImageName: Halia the Rememberance
Status: Deceased
Age of Death: 4
Cause of Death: White fever
Halia was a bundle of joy, She couldn't sit still when Ikaika' tugged at her black hair in attempt of braiding it. Watching Haila slip from the life she once knew into a painful and hallucinated filled world it was hard on Ikaika. Whilst her mother died first it was the much more painless because of her hardy immune system but it hit Haila harshly. Even though they were able to ride on the backs of horses whence they moved it was still hard for her to take in, The pale skin consumed the sun and left lesions all over her mouth and the tender skin. The night Haila died she kept sputtering, "Run, Run, Run." Doing as her sister told with her dog by her side she fled.

Companion/Heriloom :
ImageName: Toklo
Gender: Male
Status: Alive
Cost: 25GMs
Breed: Dynakuva Painted Desert Dog
There are no words really to describe Toklo. He has always been there for her when she needed him and even followed her when she left the village. Any normal dog's instinct would be to stay where the food supply is, but no. Toklo stayed with Ikaika'. When her mother passed and her sister passing he would sit next to her, leaving her undisturbed by frantic licking or playful tackles. It was like he knew that there was much death in their small family. Toklo gave her the energy she needed to want to breath, to live.
