51th of winter 513 It was a usual day. The preliminary work in the forge had been finished and now it was time for his daily break for lunch. At the start of his apprenticeship osd had been a bit annoyed at the fact silverheart forced him to take a break. That he wasn't just allowed to scarf down the food and go back to work. Still in the end he managed to see the reason of it though. All work with no rest wasn't very good for once body. Which was fine when he was still a slave he guessed. But it probably would reflect badly on silverheart if his sole apprentice collapsed from the strain of the work. At first it was hard to get used to, having free time. He hadn't had any free time in years. But in the end he managed, used the time to work a bit on his nader-canoch as he shoved his meal inside. A while back however, he had gotten another company during his lunch break. Something he was rather gratefull for, even though the woman was strange and probably slightly cracked. But in sahova you couldn't really be that choosy for the company you took. As long as it didn't overtly try to murder you they probably could be trusted enough for simple conversation. So here he was waiting at the usual place, his dictionary, and another smaller book in nader-canoch under his arm. Waiting for Elsa to show up so he could have his daily conversation with a person that wasn't either his teacher or vaguely wanted to kill him. Or was just completely nuts in general. |
