Orabelle couldn't help but think thatthat the Nia's boarding house was not for her. Firstly, Orabelle doesn't clean and doesn't make messes. Yet she was sometimes stuck cleaning up "her share" of the house. If the people weren't so nice, she'd rage. Cleaning was a very difficult task for Orabelle. She could tie down a rope, help catch fish for her pod and even man the sails as a child. But never had she ever cleaned. It wasn't in her nature. After living her mother, who had personal slaves and paid servants, she didn't have to clean then either. Orabelle could do anything but clean. She was horrible at it, and didn't like it at all. Not to mention, the small rooms just weren't enough for Orabelle and Chela to share. Chy'lah sometimes crashed there if she didn't feel like going home too. Surprisingly, these three lovely ladies figured out how to share the poor couch and small bed.
Orabelle came to the Red Diamond Fashions with the thoughts of a new home. On the way to work, she passed many lovely condos and thought they'd be nice. But still they were not enough for Orabelle and Chela. They needed a home. Chela was an energetic young girl. She proved that many times when they were out the house. She could run for belles without getting tired and loved being active. Chela also loved the beach just as much as Orabelle does.
The day was very slow. Only a few customers had come in and out, only to buy a new dress and a few ounces of facial cream. The young woman found herself sitting in the makeup area writing down a few things:
°Wardrobe (large)
°Masterbedroom
° 2 simple bedrooms
°Fine Couches
° Simple kitchen
°Luxury bath house
° Courtyard area (Playing dugout for Chela)
° place?: THE BEACH
By the small list she created was a crappy doodle of a house on a tropical beach. She heard the door open. Three tall and elegant women walked in, giggling and cackling away. They wore wool clothing and shawls over their shoulders. Orabelle believed they were human. Their faces were sour as if they were not happy with anything and Orabelle began to have a bad feeling. They slowly approached her and creeped some smiles.
"Orabelle, isn't it?" One of the women asked. She had long wild hair that was almost a dark brown. Her eyes were crazed and her skin was almost pale."You've turned a lot of our barbaric friends into goddesses." There was a dramatic pause."I don't think we need too much work but a few manicures and haircuts." She said with an almost snobbish attitude.
"I can do that, who am I starting with first?" Orabelle questioned, little did she know they would all raise their hands. The women scoffed at each other before the ring leader, at least Orabelle assumed since she has literally pushed herself above the other.
"Me first, I'm the one with connections. If it weren't for me, you two hags wouldn't even know." The women took a seat at the makeup booth.
"Okay lets start with your hair. Come to the water basin?" Orabelle began walking towards the water basin. All three women followed and as Orabelle began to wash her hair they watched closely. As her fingers massaged the head and cleaned it, they took mental notes of how Orabelle did it.
She left her at the basin, the spot she was currently sitting at was great spot to cut hair. Orabelle grabbed a hair kit and after drying the woman's hair, began combing and brushing the woman's hair."Alright after this I will begin cutting your hair- uh? I'm sorry what is your name? What kind of haircut do,you want too?"
"My name is Meredith. I just want a trim."
