Physical Description
To look death in the eyes is to gaze upon Jhathir.
Though born a small snake like all his kin, Jhathir has grown to immense dimensions. His body stretches a lengthy fourty-five feet, weighing at least four hundred pounds, the majority being muscle. His broad snout marks the start of his diamond pattern which runs to his tail tip. Alternating a deep blue and rich gold in a dark brown, spotted framework on top his deep green skin, his colours create an ideal camouflage for the deep jungles and forests. His belly side is a lighter brown, best compared to the colour of a dampened piece of wood, stripped of its bark. His largest fangs extend down two inches, and curve at the ends to latch onto prey. Perhaps the most characteristic of Jhathir is his eyes: pitch black with spires of gold. The majority of these features come through in his Dhani form.
Now extending to twenty-two feet long, weighing in at about three hundred-fifty pounds, Jhathir’s Dhani form reveals a bit more of him. The spotted pattern is consistent, extending from his neck down to his tail. The tint of his underside lightens a bit to mimic his fair human-form complexion. The muscular build of Jhathir becomes all the more apparent with his human muscle groups forming. Notable of Jhathir is his condensed muscle structure, making him appear well built as opposed to stocky and buff. The surprising feature of Jhathir develops with the shift of this form, his human features in particular. While still maintaining a monstrous look, Jhathir’s face begins to reveal an attractive side of him. The once pitch black eyes begin to revert to a dark green, the gold spires remaining as well. His fangs shorten, though they are still a useful weapon built into Jhathir’s full body weaponry.
Six feet, six inches, and six pack abs, Jhathir is death incarnate. His body is hairless save for his eyebrows and the hair on his head. Jhathir’s short hair is a dark brown, similar to that witnessed in his serpentine forms, with a characteristic gold streak in his bangs on the right side. His eyes lighten to a vibrant, jungle green, the gold spokes also appearing in this form. The remainder of his form is distinct, clean, et tres beau. Jhathir is a well kept “young man” appearing to look in his late twenties and early thirties...pretty good for having been around a century. Faded scars are scattered all about Jhathir’s body, all of which were gained from some failed attempts experienced in his life time. A funny thing for a man to do, Jhathir has a tendency to swing his hips when he walks. This trait was picked up from years of slithering around on his body, of course.
Jhathir is the embodiment of the grim and beautiful sides of death.

Character Concept
Having lived for nearly two centuries, Jhathir has learned much. The majority of his wisdom is structured around arts, sciences, and magic.
One can’t help but take notice to the beautiful things experienced. Jhathir had spent a majority of his earlier years in the civilized world looking into arts of all sorts for sources of entertainment and insight to the mortal society; though once the fuel of his interest to learn, Jhathir has grown bored with deciphering these arts. The trends of the arts soon bored Jhathir after his discovery and studies of them, at which point he turned his attention to science.
Arithmetic, philosophy, and above all psychology, Jhathir sought out basic sciences which he deemed useful in expanding his talents in search of his life goal. Jhathir’s ability to reason and persuade are commendable, though he is still expanding his talents. While not a master psychologist, Jhathir is a master at observing behaviours in speech, motion, and other physiological attributes which he uses in his favour. The most notable use of this talent is his method of “hunting.” Being such a ravishing young man in his human form, Jhathir has taken up a technique of luring his victims into bed upon which he consumes them. Alternatively, the method works in reverse. He will seek out prey on the roads at which point he’ll seek to terrify them in another form, later descending to the victims in his human form appearing as a saviour god, in a sense. He’ll seek to overtake the startled victims from there, one way or another. This form of hunting makes life easier for him. He generally hunts humans seeing them as a lesser, naive race given their limited life spans. They are rather well fed too. Jhathir has no preference of sex or race when it comes to a necessary meal. He takes playing with your food to a whole new level. Jhathir has limited insight to the divine intent, and generally avoids Mizahar’s pantheon because of it. He would never involve himself in divine politics, unless... Jhathir, having a good control over sciences in general, has grown bored with these subjects as well. His most recent interest has been magic.
Knowing very little aside from the background work to most magic, he can perform just about none. His content with his physical abilities have satisfied him to a point, however, he’s beginning to realize the potential he could have with an arsenal of spells at his disposal. A particular magic Jhathir has found immediate interest in is familiary.
In the time spent on Mizahar, Jhathir has taken full advantage of the resources available to him. With concepts of art and science nearly mastered, Jhathir now seeks to study in magic.

In all his time spent in this world, none of his kin have delivered emotional satisfaction to him; and given his method of making friends, his friends who he gets to know so much of don’t last very long. This is why familiary is such an interest to Jhathir. He hopes to seek companionship, as far as a partner in crime goes, through this magic. The ultimate perk Jhathir has in mind is the sense of control he’ll have on this familiar.

Given Jhathir’s preference of hunting he’s usually on the move as to not draw attention to himself.

Jhathir’s many scars were gained from old experiments which were derived from theories brought up in books, or mentioned by his mother.

Jhathir usually keeps mobile stashes near his current dwelling area at all times. These stashes may contain newly gained valuables, emergency food stocks, or cloths to blend back with the civilized world after a poor encounter. Jhathir keeps a full hooded robe on his person at –all- times. When not in use, the cloak is typically kept in his stomach. It comes in handy when he needs to re-enter the world if his stashes are inaccessible.

Despite having such a long life span, Jhathir’s ultimate goal is immortality, or better yet obtaining divinity as Avalis did.

Jhathir is obvious power hungry on the side of his physical hunger. Aside from personal magic, Jhathir recognizes the power in gnosis marks, and the working behind them. He would seek to obtain all pair marks he can before taking up the third mark of any god, preferably one who would seek to rise him among the gods. He avoids divine affairs for such reasons as well; not wishing to overly obtain the favour is disdain of any one divinity.

Jhathir is very intelligent and experienced given his time on Mizahar; the only thing bigger than his pool of knowledge is his vanity. He is right in all he does and no one is superior. Jhathir exercises this philosophy well considering he’s alive today.

Jhathir is as sadistic and vile as his great-mother, Siku.

Character History
Ulmajhathir’s life in the nest was typical. He quickly grew and stood out among his nest. His matriarch mother took pride in this and encouraged his development above the rest, save for any daughters who would eventually take up her torch.
Jhathir’s ability to shift forms changed his world. He was soon hunting in nearby forests for prey such as small animals and humans, pathetic humans. He came across many literary works in his time from which he taught himself.
His ability to shift to a human was somewhat a dream come true. With such ability and the knowledge he had obtained, Jhathir was motivated and “ready” to leave the next and extend his vast bank of wisdom. His trips from the nest started off small and soon grew in length of time. The longest time from his nest had lasted nearly a decade upon which time he returned home to his dying mother.
On her deathbed she told Jhathir all her secrets, doing well to keep them from the mind of a rising matriarch who had rivalled ‘Momma-Ulma’ for a time.
The new matriarch knew better than to dare to challenge either mother or son for the information. Jhathir left the nest for the last time upon his mother’s death. She was the only one to ever have such a connection with the boy.
Jhathir extended his studies from there and experimented with some of the secrets passed to him; most of which he was unprepared for and left him with more than a slap on the wrist. He has since tempered little with any information he was unsure of. He current studies are that of magic. H has a firm grasp on many of Mizahar’s other intellectual offerings.
