Job: Traveler, mill owner for 5 years

Amernis was only a 20 year old when he took over the mill when his father died. His father talked of a sword and shield hidden the forest around his village, and told him to go find it. For 8 days he searched for this sword and shield, and after finally finding it, he discovered it was magical, and did not break. As magic was hated in his village, he taught himself to use the sword secretly in the woods. This went on for about 5 years, until he decided he didn't want his life to just be keeping the mill, so he left his friends and family behind to search for excitement and adventure.
