Vayl slowly stopped shaking as he forced his breathing to calm down. When he lifted his head into view, his tears had dried, and a sad smile crossed his mouth.

"While I haven't the energy to argue about how amazing a person you think I am, I'm glad you're staying."

Slowly he rose to his kness and leant forward to hug Redd close to him, pulling her hood off. He smiled, stroking her hair instinctively and letting her head rest on his shoulder. His lavender eyes looked along her neck and cheek.

He could feel some tension in himself, the final vestiges of worry. He let them go.

Leaning in gently, Vayl dedicated himself to Redd with a soft kiss on the cheek, before hugging her as much as possible, making them be as close to each other as he could.

"Thankyou... Redd" he whispered. "For everything"

Redd had been worried that Vayl would turn away from her, but the moment he lifted his head relief wasted over her form, not really caring that he didn't think that he was amazing like she did think he was and she managed a small smile at this.

Her hazel gaze watched as he rose from the floor to his knees and leaned forward to pull her into him in a hug, feeling the hood being pulled away from her head. She leaned into him, letting her head rest upon his shoulder, relaxing as she did so, feeling comfort in the fact that he was finally relaxing himself.

When she felt his lips press softly upon her cheek, she couldn't help the flush of crimson rise in them in a simple blush. It puzzled her that she would have a reaction such as this and she figured that she could think upon it later, for now she would dedicate her thoughts to Vayl.

Upon hearing his words she smiled in full, "I have a feeling that if I tell you, that you have done more for me than I have for you, you will argue in full. For now however, I will settle with just saying, it was no trouble on my part." Taking in a deep breath, her arms lifted to curl around his being as best as she could, pressing close to him as much as it was deemed possible.

She had felt safe in his arms when he had carried her through the city streets, it was no lie and she felt secure within them right then. She couldn't explain it and she didn't think she could possibly describe it or explain it to anyone else even if she tried.

Her hazel eyes closed as she took another deep breath, taking in his scent this time, allowing it fold over her almost like a safe blanket. Something had most definitely changed when she had first come across his scent. She remembered when she first saw him, it was like an instant need to get closer, to get to know him and she hoped that she certainly could.
