At the acceptance of his word it was all Vien could do to keep from smiling. Miro had fell for the ploy. With this I am free of my bond to Miro, for a time. I'll have to make sure to keep this act up while he trains me. Then Miro walked forward and placed his staff against the bare of his back.
"What are you?" was all Vien managed for not even a tick later a rush of emotions came flooding in overwhelming all sense of reason that had been there just ticks before. Images flew through his mind things that scared him most as well as events from his past that tormented him still to this day. All of it came to the surface as if a volcano had just erupted in the very depths of his mind. Vien began to curl into a ball as best he could given his lack of strength. Miro's words were merely echoes from a far away place at this point. Vien felt like he was truly dying as the fear overwhelmed him more so by the tick; however, the worst was yet to come because just as Vien was about to break another flood came swooping in. The pain from before returned but this time it's strength was magnified tenfold.
No matter how much he tried he could not stop the gasp that escaped his lips as the leeching took hold. His back arched forward in reflex to the leeching but it did not help for the leeching still penetrated deep within his body rendering ever fiber of his being depleted. By this point his consciences had all but faded away into the deep pit of his subconscious to allow Vien to try and coop with the pain and suffering he was enduring. For what felt like lifetimes since it had started the pain finally subsided leaving Vien nothing more than what seemed like a lifeless hunk of flesh on the ground. Though his heart was still pumping and his lungs still allowing him breath he would soon wish that Miro would of just finished the job.
