Appearance: Rivulets of an emerald-green runs through the irises of this gargantuan creature, speaking of a deep and warm curiosity that knows no bounds. He is covered from head to toe in long fur that spans from a crispy white to a mossy hue. Bearing thick, yet small claws and a set of elongated teeth; all in all Loeth is an intimidating creature. Yet above all else he prides himself on his gentle demeanor. His motions are smooth and almost graceful despite the burly physique he boasts. He defies his bestial impression with his very voice, as the sound could be likened to a rumbling purr containing an almost silken quality.

Character Concept

Curiosity is a powerful weapon against an adversary known as monotony. With it in our arsenal we have discovered countless medical advancements, created awe-inspiring and beautiful pieces of artwork, and even waged wars in the name of simply knowing more. Loeth is a curious creature. His desire for knowledge is endless and he fears only passing into the next life having not sated his lust for understanding the world he lives in. Every word he utters, every motion he takes, is purely and utterly driven by curiosity. Rare and valuable information is a comodity, and were one to be willing to trade it, there's little the Jamoura wouldn't do to obtain it. He's an archivist of sorts, storing away in his head the rare and unusual.

Character History

Before Creation :
It was in the midst of a rainstorm that Loeth underwent an experience which would go on to carve out the rest of his fate. Having been raised from a young age by a priest of Eyris belonging to the Hahk'maghtar, his entire life had been dedicated towards meditation and immersing himself in the wilds around him. He had grown intimately familiar with the Spires and the entities within, developing a love for both so deep it would take a force immeasurable powerful to separate him from his home.

He had been resting, eyes closed and legs crossed with his fingers folded and resting upon his lap. Contemplation was necessary, daily, for both the desire to reach enlightenment as well as achieving that incredible inner calm were key when it came to guiding himself to his place of inner peace. It was through meditation that he found purpose, as it was meditation that allowed him to discover who he was, truly, at heart. His sense of moral-code had been developed through meditation. His faith to his goddess, Eyris, had been discovered through meditation. It was by attempting to master his thoughts and the mind that contained them that Loeth found a goal: to contain all that he could contain.

It was in the midst of a rainstorm that Loeth's mental faculties cracked, shivered, and a rush unlike any other flooded every sense he owned. His soaked fur, with that deep chill and the comforting pressure of the water pounding against his body, vanished. The darkness of the night around him as well as the flora and fauna he had so grown used to and had practically worshiped his entire life, vanished. All that he had ever known and beloved, vanished. In their place something was inserted.

She was a tanned, sensual woman. Fine silk and ornate jewels adorned her body and shimmering makeup was delicately placed upon her features. She moved with a lithe grace that only few could move with, and practically pranced among the heated sands that swallowed her entire vision. Death had followed her to this treacherous place. He knew this, because she knew it. Her limbs were multiple in number, a total of six arms dancing and swaying against the wind as they each bent and molded in shape and figure. For a moment they were flesh, without warning, slithering and stretching, hardening, sharpening, and they were bone. Limbs had become weapons, and each cut through a separate bolt of fire as pale-faced, gaunt, black-tongued figures seemingly materialized out of thin air. The heat scorched her flesh, and white-hot pain sprouted from all sides, she raged against the men and women that surrounded her. Indignant incredulity filled her to the brim. She was fearsome, her body in a constant state of change and adaptation, molding and snapping back into place when it suited her, and becoming bestial when it was required. He felt the djed flow, because she felt the djed flow. Her eyes were filled with tears of malice and sorrow, and her jaw flew open as a scream of hate and desperation pierced the air.

It was in the midst of a rainstorm that Loeth felt his first heartbreak. She had died, and he had felt it in its entirety. The scream had let loose a name, and it was this name that would push the Jamoura out of his comfortable home in the Spires and into the wilds of the world to better understand what had happened to the woman he once was, and had just so intimately become acquainted with. He would seek out Eypharians as well as those who bore the black-tongue, any and all, to discover what he could.
