What did Adi have? A house and a horse to her name, and nothing else but a handful of Mizas.
This needed to change.
There had been whispers of Svefra sailing to Kenash for various reasons, and Adi was intrigued by the thought. If Svefra found something interesting about Kenash, something intriguing enough to travel there...then perhaps it was worth a visit.
Of course, she knew nothing about Kenash besides the fact that it was a swamp town she'd passed through briefly on her way to Riverfall from Avanthal. So she left that day from her house, intent on going to the docks to find someone who knew more about Kenash than she did.
It didn't take very long at all for Adi to get ready. She dressed herself in all white-shirt, pants, and new cloak, and her boots on over that. In her bag went...well, everything she had besides her furniture, house, and horse. She didn't have many possessions. Sliding both bracelets on her right wrist (and feeling a little giddy when she remembered where they came from), Adi pulled her hair back in a braid and left her house.
Something about this departure felt permanent in a way none of her ever departures from this house had.
