Romance in Lhavit

Okay. So.... this is awkward. I don't normally do matchmaker requests, much less for romance. However, I think it would be a great plotpoint for what I'm trying to do with Ardan.

I'm trying to see what bonding to another person will do to Ardan psychologically. Seeing as he had his last bondmate tragically torn from him, it could make for some nice drama.

So you don't need to go deciphering my CS, I'll just tell you. Ardan is a kleptomaniac and schizophrenic with three different personalities that are constantly bickering in his head. Everyone he loved died in Syliras, and he could not remain, so he eventually blew into Lhavit.

In layman's terms, he's nuttier than a squirrel.

Basically, I'm going for a strong friendship that eventually blossoms into romance, but we can figure the details out later.

Hi, there! Out of curiosity, does gender matter much to him?

Errr, uhhh, I should probably add in that, since Phobius is a new-ish/recycled character of mine, I'm kind of looking at forming relationships for the same reason you are. It'd be interesting to see how he manages forming a bond with an individual who also has an ailing mind, despite their cases being different. Plus, he's flexible in preference in that he doesn't...really have a preference.

Not that it has to be heavily romantic, but...okay, I'm not sure what the point I'm trying to make is, anymore. Ha.

Yeah, sorry, but Ardan lacks the flexibility for that. He's not even really aware that same-sex relationship is a thing that occurs (not a thing that comes up when being taught how to steal). So.... yeah. Sorry, but no.
