Dmitri walked down to the beach-or rather, flew. His cottage was closer to the woods, rather than the beach- it was easier for hunting, after all. The beach he found somewhat boring, but soothing at the same time- a good place to practice if you didn’t mind the heat. There was tiny little shade near a small tiny tree, but that was about it. The “shade” probably didn’t feel like anything, though.
The beach was good for practicing- less animals that could just get into your face and bandits were probably not going to come. Anyway, he better start practicing before people came and started to look at him weirdly for punching absolutely nothing. He stood in ready position, one fist in front of him and another a bit more in the front, his legs similarly like his arms position-wise. He punched with the arm in the front, moving his leg as he did so.
A satisfying sound came from the punch- like a crack. No matter how many times he did it, he still found the crack satisfying. He kept going, punching with his right then moving along with his legs and a few low kicks. He kept going, making a combo of random kicks and punches. of course, it was all offense, and usually one would fight back rather than letting him hit them, yeah?
He did another punch, moving his leg, then promptly falling to the ground. “Woaaaahhh..???!” He said awkwardly, falling on the sand, thankfully letting his arms move towards the ground first before falling on his head like an idiot. “You’re so clumsy!” A voice said, female. He turned around, expecting to see someone, that one person, teasing with a massive, big grin- only to see the waves hit the sand, as if teasing him of his loss.
“Petch.” He murmured, letting his arms fall, making him fall to the sand, staring up to the sky. “It’s okay,” he murmured, but really, he didn’t believe it. How was he going to get over this? He was quietly obsessing this thought as he did things and it would randomly hit him when he was doing anything. Some say, you’re a man! Deal with it, for you have had experience to go on in your life be brave, et cetera. Really, he was a child in a man’s face, men's everything, like a wolf in a sheep’s clothes.
Meanwhile, his mind kept going through the same words- “I’m okay, always, no matter what. Gotta be manly.. Right?”
