Physical Description:
Judge's human guise stands over six foot one, retaining the aesthetic signature features; peppered black-silver hair, elongated fangs, and deep permafrost blue eyes of his canine form as well as a portion of the mighty wolf's body weight; although his lean body structure, broad shoulders, and toned running legs wouldn't hint at the notion. He strides and carries himself like a predator, careful and calculating in his movements, more hunched over than standing straight, eyes always wandering and watching; entrancing some and intimidating others with his piercing gaze.
His face contorts to accommodate whatever emotion or instinct strikes him at the moment, extremely expressive in his body language and accentuated by his guttural voice and harsh mannerisms. Often his hands and feet are caked with the dry blood of his latest kill; sometimes adorning his lower jaw after a bountiful hunt. The scars from his time in Sunberth and the claws and jaws encountered from hunting in Taldera have left their innumerable marks on Judge's flesh, most of them faded but like his memories, never completely gone.
As an animal, Judge assumes the form of a dire wolf with snow white fur covered in streaks of black around the base of his stomach and encircling both of his eyes.
Character Concept:
"Evens or odds? Only half a chance I get to eat you. Or I eat you anyways"
Like his biological nature; Judge's psyche teeters on the edge of man and beast at any given time. He is temperamental and aggressive, readily able and willing to express his rage at the slightest provocation. Although the basic instincts of a Talderian predator takes precedence, he is at heart a playful individual living in the moment, impulsively leaping into action without rational thought and prone to fits of laughter during a fight or the middle of a hunt. Though he has had his fair share of bad experiences, he rarely laments in them and never thinks ahead to the future.
Judge remains true to valued kelvic traits of loyalty, affection, and patience around those he considers good company when the ache of being masterless takes over his general disposition towards avoiding companionship. Expect sarcasm and harsh jest whether friend or foe, he is socially predisposed to belittle others either to show his interest in them or lack of respect; and watching people try differentiating between the two motivations is an amusing pass time. His first experience with a bonded partner started with his mistress Yora's deception and ended with Judge's jaw latched around her soft, easily crushable throat while she slept. The experience left the wolf with a cold bitterness in his heart, distrusting the race of man and shunning his own human form for that of the company of animals and like-minded kelvics.
In fact humans make for a far better meal than chance acquaintances to Judge when the inevitable hunger takes hold of him, which is frequent as the appetite of a dire wolf is hardly quenchable with such fast metabolism. He isn't without sport however, for he has developed a love for the gambling games of Sunberth, and often allows potential food a chance to win their lives for another night at the roll of two black and white dice. Those who win their lives remember those hungry, blue eyes staring into them, and the wretched gurgling cries of their less fortunate companions
