28th day of Spring, 514AV
Since the morning, it had been frantic in the kitchen of the ever popular inn, The World's End Grotto. Fully staffed, every cook, waiter and waitress always had something to do. As for Miles, he was stuck with the washing up. Much like a reserved member of a team, Miles waited on the sidelines hoping to join the rest of the cooks. Washing the dishes seemed like a relentless task. No matter how fast miles washed the dishes, the pile would continue to grow and multiply. Needless to say, the task was something Miles did not enjoy

As bells pasted, the piles finally stopped growing and Miles was able to finish up. During the afternoon, the number of patrons dwindled; the amount of them that enter was enough to keep the kitchen busy and not frantic. During this time, Miles moved up from dish washer to waiter. Walking from table to table, he collected orders from the patrons and jotted them down on a pad of paper, handing them over to the kitchen staff. "Bet you want cook. Eh, Theo?" A male cook said with a grin.
"Heh, only a few more bells and I'll have the place to myself," Miles said, "here you've got some soup to cook."
Miles handed over the slip of paper and returned to collect more orders from patrons.

Miles break had started and he decided to spend it to buy supplies. Holding a bread bun in one hand and the other over his satchel, he headed off to Bohrnn & Goldwoerth to purchase ten gold rimmed mizas worth of bits and bops. Miles entered the store with a small bag of mizas and left with a sizeable bag of gears, screws and other goodies. And he began to head back to the inn, Miles collided with another person. Slightly dazed, miles apologised, that's when is eyes met the flames.

Miles stood before a woman with hair as red as a divine flame. With innocent intentions, Miles gaze focus on her chest. He noticed a mark upon her breast, it was something he had never seen before. The mark seemed to burn, yet it didn't sear the skin it laid upon. Averting his eyes away from the woman's chest, his eyes were met with brown staring eyes. It took a moment for Miles to grasp what had happened. Not only had he bumped into someone, but he proceeded to ogle the woman. His mind began running a million miles, trying to think of an apology. The only think that escape his lips before he fled the scene was: "ah... Sorry!"
There are many travellers in Zeltiva. The woman didn't seem familiar to Miles, so he assumed that she was just visiting and was going to leave soon. With a first impression like that, Miles hoped he would never see the woman again.

Night began to fall and Miles was finally staffed in the kitchen. However, it wasn't what he hoped for. He was the only one in the area, and was the only one staffed. It was like a ghost town. The once bustling kitchen is now deserted. Since Miles had nothing to do, he decided to have dinner. Using fish and various vegetables, he created a simple meal. In the end, Miles ended up making a broth. It was passable as a meal, but it wasn't something he'd serve. Sitting at a lonely table, miles are his fishy meal.

Half way through his dinner, a familiar bell chimed, signalling a patron had entered. Springing up from his chair, Miles welcomed the guest. However, to his surprise... It was the fiery haired woman from before...[
