Titus Spellweaver Appearance Race: Ghost Gender: Male Age: 105 (Died at 26) Birthday: 23, Winter, 409. Birthplace: Syliras Appearance: Character Concept He is an evil spirit of a once ambitious young man who died preforming a task for his master. He has returned as a ghost but yet still wishes to learn. He holds a secret darkness about his that has emerged since his death, the world will likely feel this darkness it's self soon enough. Character History Long ago a young man with some small skill with magic left his peaceful home in Syliras over one hundred years ago in pursuit of magical power. Although he didn't show it visibly he hated the peace of Syliras and the smiling faces of all the men, women, and children he meet. For reasons unknown to him it disgusted him and made him simply wish to rain down ruin on them all. He had showed promise with his yet minor magical ability and he aimed to master magic in it's various forms before he would bring ruin and war to Mizahar. He never once let anyone know his true ambitions until he had finally arrived at Sahova a true focal point from like minded individuals. He did want them to train him to use magic he merely wanted access to the resources, tools, and knowledge necessary to do it himself. The only hitch to his plan was the fact that he had to endure the grueling task of being an apprentice, a fate nearly as likely to kill him as the Nuit on the island looking for a fresh body or "Meat Sack" as many of them referred to it as. He first though had to pass a judgement to become an apprentice which many aspiring mages like himself had failed at and where forced to leave the island for it. He gave his best attempt and nearly over-gave with his djed in the process which only barely got him accepted. From there he had mixed feelings about his time there since when experimenting alone he enjoyed it, but when his master called he shrank in fear of what task was next.Waylen Stormcatcher a Nuit, Titus's reluctant master, and an expert in the fields of alchemy, animation, glyphing, Reimancy, and summoning. A true Nuit to the core and a personality toward pulsers to match. He only took Titus under his wing since his last apprentice was devoured by one of his failed experiments. As a well respected mage of Sahova Waylen did what ever he need to to attain and maintain not only his position but his Grant Funding. He had a particular taste for the bodies of young well built men, this fact nearly cost Titus his life on more than one occasion when Waylen attempted to liberate him from his body. His attitude was difficult to judge since toward Nuit he was rather friendly, abit competitive still but far from the harsh and cruel way he treated Titus. When in the lab it was nearly impossible to get his attention, like trying to pull a starving lion away from a pile of steaks, he would quickly anger if disturbed during his studies and would order Titus to do difficult add dangerous task if he did so.The lab he shared with his master was large and roomy, meant so that large projects could easily be preformed without having to find more space to work. It had many large tanks for storing the creature or other experiments in for safety and observation. It also sported a large trap door that lead directly to the training ground where he would release his beasts for others to take care of. The walls where covered in glyphs with various spells mostly reimancy for the purpose of defense against anything he was unable to control, this was usually summoned creatures who didn't wish to obey and where strong enough to break there leash. It was in this laboratory two years after Titus's death that Waylen was killed or rather lost. He attempted to create a bridge between the world of Mizahar and the world his favorite summoned creature came from, however the spell wasn't stable enough and he was sucked into the portal he made. The portal seal behind him and there where no witnesses so it was generally assumed that he disintegrated himself and a formal investigation was never preformed. Since then the lab has fallen into disuse and most of the useful research tool and note where taken by other Mages for use in there own projects. Often his was made to act as test subject, others as bait for some insidious creature, and even once as a host to a ghost to possess for his master to interrogate. His hatred and malice grew stronger as did his comprehension of magic and it's uses. He had so much trouble with harassment from the Nuit at he had decided to join them but first he was to capture an escaped experiment his master had made. He didn't want to do it but he didn't really have a choice in the matter and set out to capture the vile creature. Titus had tracked it deep into the Training Grounds and was hot on it's trail when it's tracks suddenly vanished, thinking that the creature could apparently fly he scanned the sky only for the creature to silently come up from the ground behind him. It would seem that the beast had the ability to become intangible for short duration's, as fact his master conveniently left out. It attacked and ripped him in half, devouring his lower body and leaving him to die. In his last moments he convinced himself that this wasn't the end before the blackness took him. As a ghost Titus took violently toward other ghosts, going so far as to devour there soul-mist until there where on the verge on none existence. This was a concern for Wanda the caretaker Nuit, since she tended to the ghost she imprisoned in the courtyard. She confronted Titus only to find that he was pleasant company when it was just the two of them and quickly took a liking to him. Titus and Wanda hit it off well and spent days talking about every subject imaginable, but it despaired the old Nuit to have to leave all the other ghosts alone to be able to speak with her favorite one due to his nasty habit of attacking the others. It became such a problem that she had to trap him in a separate rind of rods just to protect the other ghosts. He begged to be released to no effect and was left there alone for twenty years with only brief occasional visits from Wanda. On one of these visits Titus proposed a deal with her, she would not only free him from the ring but let him freely pass between the courtyard and the rest of Sahova and Titus would visit from time to time without attacking the other ghost and send any ghosts he finds her way. She hesitantly accepted on the condition that he also apologize to all the ghost he attacked. He readily agreed but wasn't particularly happy about her terms. It took him a full two years to complete her condition but was relieved after it was all over.
