I never thought someone else’s idea could spearhead my thoughts like this. Then I read this, and found all the inspiration I needed to post another ad of my own.
Now, my idea is a bit different than its muse. What I’m looking for is travelling threads that explain how Tiorak got from Zeltiva to Lhavit in a span of three years or something akin to it. I want him to have lived in Lhavit for two or so, and because of misc information I've been leaving in my threads, it’s been something like five years since he left home.
So this journey would start in Zeltiva somewhere during the year 509 AV. The season has not yet been decided, and it would last all the way to 512 AV where season again would be of no real concern. The methods of travel or exact routes aren't planned, so I’m likely to go whichever way I've found volunteers.
Have you ever thought about an epic escape from the world of mundane? Have you ever wanted to have that friend from long ago that you never get to see anymore because of… well, life? Maybe you just wanted to have an awesome adventure sometime before your PC became the stable person he’s today? Maybe you were running with a caravan? Maybe you were running one? Maybe we just met on some unimportant mile marker 174 somewhere?
If you found yourself in any of those, you should really PM me. I’m first and foremost looking for past travelling partners and companions, but wouldn't shy away from any sort of a threading partner in those days.
That journey is supposed to be a huge part of what Tiorak is today. Somehow simply saying he was once in Zeltiva and he had somehow reached Lhavit seemed like too much of an insult to his history.
As I work things out with people, this post is bound to be updated.
