22nd day of Summer, 514 AV
Miro had an appointment today, one with a man who had been informed of the wizard's ability in Reimancy. That he could perform services for an hourly fee. What the man wanted, a statue of himself, much like the one he had witnessed in the Vitrax. It was one the Master Apprentice knew well. The statue of Ebonlord Gru'tral. It was a simple request, though it had to be performed at the man's residence.
This fellow, Rupin Valantus, a rather wealthy young fellow. He was an odd man, as often those from money seemed to be. Though the man tried to keep his strangeness buried, and this was what the Hypnotist used to keep him from speaking of the deal made. This indulgence was made into a guilty pleasure, a secret desire that he would tell no one.
It made for this to move smoothly. Miro met the man in a shady part of the Plaza, near the Foundation. A Ravosala was hailed and off they went to the Noble District. Just as the undead expected, it was a large and expensive house. Rupin led the way into the room that the Reimancer would work in. He explained how he ensured that nobody would bother him today.
The room they were in, it was a small locked room on the second floor. It was obviously a place where he went to be alone, an appropriate place for such a egotistical piece of art. While the creation of a statue was not entirely foreign territory, it was not familiar either. The process he would use seemed simple enough to devise, however to implement it may prove troublesome.
Miro gave a pensive glare as he looked over his model, this awkward excuse for a man. The first thing any noticed of him was that he looked to be withering away, and constantly hunched his back. Already a short man, it made him even less imposing. However he did seem to show some intellectual capacity, from what the wizard had gathered. Though it was heavily shadowed by his eccentricities.
The one thing that could not be decided for certain was whether the man's face was attractive or not. His long ragged hair hung at eye level, the brown locks that hid his gaze from that of strangers. His face always holding a nervous grimace, he was quite the awkward individual. However his features, they were not so unappealing.
It seemed to the Reimancer that all his client was missing was a bit of confidence. All he saw at the moment was an eager excitement held in the expression and body language of this awkward fellow. It was apparent they would start soon. There were only a few things he needed to know before he could begin his craft.
The method he would employ was simple. First he would produce his Res and shape it into a humanoid in a pose. With no detail, it would hold the general form of the statue. The next part would of course be applying detail, which was considerably more difficult. Though there was a curious idea that came to mind, perhaps a way to bring some ease to this task.
At any rate it was nigh time to start. The wizard began to clear his mind and breath in long deep breaths. He was tempted to shake his partner loose from his wrist, but wished to keep magical displays to a minimum. Chances were he would need Ender's assistance for this, but not yet. For now he only needed a clear and focused mind.
