An undead citadel created before the cataclysm, Sahova is devoted to all kinds of magical research. The living may visit the island, if they are willing to obey its rules. [Lore]
When one first steps into Lab 41-C, the first, immediate notice is that of the animation circle cast directly in the center of the laboratory. It is expansive, the destination side clearly large enough to accommodate a form much larger than a human being, with the source side approximately half of the size.
A desk is placed at each corner of the laboratory, each one with notes on a different discipline, books filed in cases as reference material. Organized meticulously, though in a pattern quite distinct from one may be used to, one will find that research notes and tomes are grouped by both complexity and singular focus as the shelving draws closer to the desk, and as the shelving approaches a different corner... applications begin to merge. For Lab 41-C is not an Animation facility, nor a Magecrafting facility, or an Alchemist's laboratory, but a facility dedicated to the inter-combination of the world magicks as a whole.
Space has been allowed around each of the circles in order to augment them with glyphs, though the laboratory does not end there. A second and third room are connected to the entrance, both lacking doors to allow ease of passage into one from the other. To the left, one will find a small sub-laboratory with a single table and the appropriate tools for Magecrafting. On the other side is an on-sete storage room. Inscribing paint, gears and tools for gadgeteering purposes, as well as husks of varying sizes are made available to those given access to the lab.
Within the lab, there are always no less than two animated constructs watching, programmed to serve both as guardians and assistants. Wheeled and given arms with fingered hands, these constructs are designed with intellect required to identify items, and speak not with words, but with a sonic resonance that would, to most, be unintelligible. An extensive amount of time or the reading of related notes are required in order to decipher the meaning of the resonance. The constructs do, however, understand Common. The constructs are not armed, but rather can be seen as more durable than most and use physical strength and the close quarters of the laboratory if needed.
Erasaides has always been considered an entity unto himself. Neither cold nor heartless, he is an introvert of the highest caliber, instead. One to spend days or even seasons in isolation once cast upon a particular thought, Erasaides is wrought with curiosity tempered with secrecy. Anti-social tendencies rife with a talkative spirit once he has stepped from the confines of his isolated. The Nuit, made in Sahova, sees the world of magic as intricately and invisibly connected, a belief that he commonly lectures. He finds this best demonstrated in the world magicks.
A simple theory that has arisen from the similar usage of the circles that crosses the threshold of the majority of the world magicks has prompted him to investigate the point thoroughly. He has succeeded, at the basic level, in doing so in the years he has been on Sahova, though most of his work and prestige come from his labours in Magecraft and Animation, respectively. Some consider his recent work with the so-called discipline of World Magick Amalgamation to be ludicrous, but the Nuit has held, steadfastly, to his belief.
Erasaides rarely leaves Lab 41-C, for the lab has become both refuge and asylum for him, the Nuit instead preferring to employ the use of golems and notes to summon those who he requires into his sanctum.
