Rawrgh! Introduction!

Name's Gromhir. Well, that account name thing on the intertubes? We don't have access to this world wide woffle back at the Ninja School of Performing Arts so I'm a little new to this thing...

Bored of that. Wish I was a ninja though, so much better than being a pirate, not that I am a pirate. :ninja:

Goggle Searches for the win! Lots of Lore is brilliant but holy crap! This is just mindboggling complex! I loves it muchly. I will huggle and snuggle it all night long!

Where were we? Oh, that's it!

I'm new here! Help!

Welcome to Mizahar, Gromhir! :)

We're here to help you. There's a lot of lore indeed (though not nearly as much as we want to write), but the good news is that you don't need to learn everything. You just need to be familiar with your race - Kelvic in your case - and the general premise behind Mizahar, which is found in the Valterrian writeup.

So, once you've come up with your character concept, you can start a Character Sheet for him/her. I could give you tons of advice, but existing sheets are the best example to go by. Just pick your 50 skill points in skills of your choosing (minimum 5 and maximum 30 points for each skill), and give yourself 10 racial bonus points in Hunting for being a Kelvic. That's it.

Then you can start writing in the Mizahar forums. Just join an existing thread or start one yourself. Others will respond, and if a moderator steps in, then you may get a custom adventure. :) This is the big picture, of course; feel free to ask for any details!

Awesome, will do. I'm gonna need a partner in crime for my Kelvic I think. Is there a way I can go about advertising that?

The Character matchmaking forum is exactly for that kind of advertisement. Of course, you can also start out without a bondmate and roleplay bonding with the "right" person when you find him/her.

OMG A NINJA FAN!

I'm totally addicted to askaninja.com. Here's a special episode just for you. Others will give you cake and welcome you to the funness, but not me. I'm giving you, a fellow Ninja fan, Ninja advice! Askaninja sold out to Verizon, so forgive the commercials.. but hes still very very funny. And I'm glad he's now being paid full time to be funny. :)

And also, yea for playing a kelvic! There's a ton of people that would love to have a Kelvic companion of some sort or another.. .which type are you going to be? I mean, what's your animal form going to consist of? I'm getting together another big guide for the kelvics... one about their bonds, how to deal with one as a companion, how to find one... etc. So there should be a ton more info forthcoming in... The Kelvic Handbook! But first, I really need to finish the Akalak so poor Niall has writing material. :)

So I see under special skills you get really really mad. That had me on the floor all the way through.

Cake is a lie anyway.

As for the animal, I'm not sure. Either a Wolf or an Ivaski, not sure yet. I should probably make up my mind really.

I'm half banock shoshoni and scottish... red-headed copper skinned natives do not make great even tempered mild mannered women. That's why I love that quote about quiet women never make history. :)

I believe there was a Konti somewhere wanting an Ivaski bondmate. Ask Kam about it.. I believe it was one of her group. :) But if you advertise in matchmaker before you decide on your CS, you might make a good hookup PC wise and not leave it to chance. But I know other kelvics who have left it to chance that came up with great folks to RP with anyhow :)

Loud and proud women are better anyway. So much more fun to be around. I'm half Irish so half the time I'm a raving lunatic and half the time I'm cool as a jaimaican cucumber at the winter olympics racing down a bobsleigh track.

I decided on Ivaski but I've decided to wing getting a bondmate and see what trouble I can cause first.

Welcome, Gromhir! Your PC promises to be a lot of fun, so I'll probably stalk you to see what you're doing with him. Be warned, I'm very curious. ;)
