Fall 75th. 19th Bell 28th chime
Towery’s Casino…..oddly enough it was one of the few places Kreig liked in Kenash….. It wasn’t a large place, in act despite its decore and the fact it had half naked slave girls running about, that churned his stomach a little. Still, it was at least a familiar air here, he remembered long ago when he used to go Tall Johnny’s for a fight bacn in Sunbrith, then the Spinning Coin back in Syliras to watch the fights….. now it seemed to come full circle here because there wasn’t any fights here to be had. Towery seemed to run the place primarily for games and prostitution of his girls ‘ I suppose it isn’t big enough for fight’s anyway’ Though if he were honest it did seem to be the type of place where brawls could occur, especially as a good third of the customers seemed to mercs ‘ Would be a welcome thing, really. Its been a while since I’ve been in an all-out brawl’ He chuckled to himself as he held a mug in his hand as he sat at the bar counter, it was cheap and reliable ale. 3 cms a mug , enough for him to get plastered even with his measely income.
He was getting used to Kenash, he was sad to say…. Time seemed to even make the more horrid aspects of life seem bearable after it passes. He was getting used to the arrogant dynasts, getting used to the cities damp weather and getting used to many of the expensive looking things this city had. Though despite getting used to all that, it was still nice to be in a place where everything felt far simpler, it was akin to a breath of fresh air. He turned to look around at the place, he could see a couple of knights who were part of the delegation although he wasn’t too familiar with them. It was hard to recognize them without their armor but their bearing gave it a way, a knight stood proud and tall after all….though they too seemed to be partaking in drinks ‘Can’t blame, must be hard being part of the honor guard’ It wasn’t like knights weren’t allowed to get drinks either, it’s just that people with martial skills tend to be dangerous drunks though they seemed to be drinking in moderation.
Kreig sighed as looked back at the mug of ale in his hand, then promptly took a sip from it. He wondered if the Knights were feeling homesick as well, being away from Syliras? “ Ain’t that obvious Kreig? Of course they are[/u]’ He chuckled humorlessly at that, taking a small sip from his mug…. He needed to take his minds off his troubles, it was the whole reason he came to this establishment in the first place and now here he was thinking about them all ‘[i]Well done Kreig, always knowing how to relax’
“Excuse me, is this seat taken?”
