So feel free to poke fun at my drawing skills, but it's come to my attention that sailing is a second language in itself. And rather than having twenty plus tabs open just so I have some inkling of an idea of what I'm writing about in a post when it comes to sailing, I've decided to go old school and write things out with pen and paper!
This is just the beginning, of course, and the pages will be detailed with things for quick reference so I can avoid all the confusion I've encountered thus far. I'll also use this space here to receive feedback from those who know a thing or two more than I do and correct me when I blunder in a post (because I would GREATLY appreciate the help). Who knows? It could become a future reference for aspiring sailors!
Why not just use the scrap in the first place to reference things, Shon? I will...a little bit. But when I'm writing, I don't like hopping back and forth between tabs. Having a handy resource sitting right next to me suits my wants much more adequately. (Plus it's fun to draw)
So with that being said, I would appreciate any nifty bits of information you guys may have concerning sailing that a greenhorn like me would benefit from.
Oh, and welcome to my scrap.
