Race: Inarta
Caste: Chiet
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Birthday: 5, Winter, 489
Birthplace: Wind Reach
Height: 181cm
Weight: 77kg

Appearance: Aesil is bald with deep set golden eyes that tend to be shifty. Many of his associates in Wind Reach would say he is high strung a majority of the time. He is slender, almost gaunt by some standards, but nothing out of the ordinary for a Chiet whose days had often consisted of pouring through books he was to be dusting. A dark scar across his clavicle decorates his lean chest, and his white Bryda is embroidered with flowing sinuous designs at the hem on each leg. He is often seen donning his Sontav when he makes it out of the pages of a book. Many describe him as meek, and apathetic while he is simply lost in reverie; pensive as a result of his recent bout with the tomes in the Enclave or a text he had recently discovered in the world.

Character Concept

As he aged, Aesil become more obsequious and reserved, doing only as he was told. He was relegated to the Enclave for years, hoping for a chance at apprenticing someday, until he stumbled upon a book describing The Spires in great detail; including the Jamoura. He was fascinated, and, as he aged, his fervor for the world beyond the walls of Wind Reach was fed. His days after leaving his home consisted of as much travel as could be facilitated by those daft enough to die for him in battle; he could be very convincing with stories of glory in battle, grand expansive cities, and hoards of treasure. He does his best, but running while a grass bear is feasting on his allies has been his greatest asset in battle though he ostensibly turned the tide in a few; perhaps due to luck. Aesil is fastidious in his quest for knowledge and the arts which drives his desire to travel despite the risk. While he isn’t a religious man by nature, he many times thanks Eyris under his breath when he discovers some facet of the world that puts him in a state of awe.

Character History

Aesil’s past transgressions in Wind Reach were obsequious, and complacent in nature. Too many days his work consisted of Enclave dusting where his love of books manifested, and his desire to partake in the world outside of the volcanoes of Wind Reach with it. He had always hoped an Endal would pick him out to ride the eagles majestically with them, but the day never came. Years passed, and his frustration with his life trapped in a volcano with, what felt like, indifferent colleagues drained his desire to stay. Thus, he packed up his necessities, and decided to leave Wind Reach despite the disdainful reaction he received when he revealed his intentions to his kin. He was sure his chances to win their favor would be in the world outside the Enclave, and not in servitude to Wind Reach that would lead him to The Drudges. In a pity offering, he was given three Dek to assist him to the next city, all of whom died. He slowly made his way to Riverfall through swindling mercenaries, a quick set of legs, and a little Miza.
