Kalari Appearance Race: Jamoura Gender: Female Age: 237 Birthdate: 14, Summer, 277AV. Birthplace: The Spires Appearance: Kalari is a massive ape looking creature. She is a little shorter than 7 feet tall and many pounds heavy (mostly of the natural bulk of the Jamoura than of fat). People looks at Kalari and finds themselves thinking 'BIG' and she's usually given wide berth despite her slow and calm nature. Kalari is covered in black fur except for her face and torso and she has intelligent brown eyes that always seem to be watching. Her deep and and slow speech can be compared to thickly melted caramel or molasses slowly dripping from a mother's spoon. Character Concept/History Kalari is a kind person. Even though she has the mentality of someone almost 24, her years on Mizahar have been many and a great deal of knowledge makes her seem wise. Or at least she should be. Kalari doesn't really know much about the world and she had little interest or patience to unlock its secrets. She loved to just enjoy the nature that the Jamoura thrived in and took part in caring for it but she never actively tried to learn anything she didn't have to. It wasn't until recently that Kalari realized that all her friends had begun mating, or even having children, and it was then that Kalari knew she was missing something in her life. She longs to be a mother one day but the only way that would happen was to attract a mate. With the little knowledge she had about the world, the best mate she knew she would be able to attract was the most foolish Jamoura she could find and what would he have to offer her future children? So with a new motivation, Kalari plans to gain knowledge in the quickest way possible - to leave her jungle home and travel Mizahar for a few years. Kalari would like to be the best mother she can be to a life that doesn't exist yet and probably won't for a few years or even decades. She doesn't know how realistic her goal is, but now she has to play over 200 years of catch up. Her first stop was Syliras, reached Spring 79, 514AV. [Kalari]

Jed Jed is Kalari's mountain pony. She has no idea what she is doing with a horse since she would crush the thing if she tried to sit on it, but it seemed appropriate at the time to get a horse for her travels. Jed is stubborn but intelligent, seeming to always give Kalari sass when they both know that the horse would probably not last long without her. He's really more of a companion then a work horse. Kalari and Jed are still trying to get to know each other and what it means to try and take care of one another.
