Solen Appearance Race: Kelvic - Gray Wolf Gender: Male Age: 2 years (Looks to be in late teens) Birthday: Ninth of Fall, 512. Birthplace: Forest near Ravok. Appearance: In human form Solen appears to be a young man in either his late teens or his early twenties. He has tawny colored hair and dark green eyes, his skin isn't perfect having just outgrown his awkward stages but he does have a nice tan from being outside almost constantly. He walks tall and straight as if he's confident, his gait is sure and steady, and he is constantly observing everything around him. Solen stands about six foot, and though he is leanly muscled he is neither bulky nor gangly. He seems to have a decently average build, if a bit on the skinny side due to his fast metabolism. When Solen shows teeth, either by grinning or laughing, one can see his canines look like... well canine teeth. This is the most obvious sign that he is Kelvic. Character Concept Solen hasn't really found himself as an individual yet. He has reached the beginning stages of maturity physically but he hasn't really been around very long. Because of his youth he retains a sense of curiosity about everything, and in social situations can appear very naive. He enjoys listening to others and observing them in order to learn about them, though he sometimes forgets that constant staring isn't polite or socially acceptable behavior. In most new situations he will come off as wary or cautious, but rarely hostile. In time his personality and concept will mature and develop. As of yet Solen is young and impressionable, and has a deep need to find....something. Character History Solen was raised by his older sister and brother, neither are Kelvic. He has no memory of his parents and was told that his mother died in childbirth and his father disappeared around the time Solen was conceived. His brother and sister left for Zeltiva in Fall of 514 but Solen didn't want to go and stayed in the forest he grew up in, after promising to go to the nearest city by the time winter rolled around. His sister did take him on several outings into human society in the areas on the shore of the lake and in Ravok itself. Being more of an observer than his sister Solen quickly got the basics down and no longer screams "Kelvic" to most people unless they talk to him beyond the typical conversations needed for everyday survival. His sister also worked diligently with him to make him seem as human as possible. In the absence of his siblings Solen was barely able to survive in the wild alone, relying on his wolf form almost exclusively for a few weeks. The only thing this seemed to have gained him his a leaner figure and an aching loneliness far worse than the one he's had all his life. To Storytellers : This is the history that Solen knows, not the story that actually happened. The truth is that Solen's "siblings" were actually his parents and their families frowned upon their union. When they had Solen and discovered he was Kelvic they decided to raise him to somewhat maturity and leave him to fend for himself before running off to another city together. The reasons they left him are many and not of particular importance. Solen was skilled enough to last for what was left of fall 'two weeks', and make his way to Ravok. He has been to Ravok and the shoreline many times growing up, but always under an assumed name and in disguise with a 'sibling'. He is now going to attempt to entirely blend in with people for an extended period of time. Solen, I don't have a surname....at least I can't remember if my litter mates...er, I mean siblings said anything about having one. 2. Do you go by a nickname or pet name? My name is Solen, my sister used to cal me Sol sometimes. But I like the way Solen sounds. So-len, it's kind of a comforting sound. 3. How old are you? I'm two years old and a season old, I'm an adult now. 4. What is your height? Six foot, my brother was taller, my sister was shorter. I don't think I will get any taller, but I feel like six feet is a good height. 5. What is your weight? I'm not sure, my sister said I was a little on the skinny side. But I'm strong, so I can't be that light. Aesthetics : 1. Describe yourself as you see yourself. Well, I'm male. I'm thin but not too thin, and I have muscles, I don't have a beard....my hair used to be long and look like straw and soil but now it's short and more like that dark sand on the lakeshore. I like my four legged form, when I have four legs I'm even stronger and can run for what feels like forever. 2. Describe yourself as others typically see you. People tell me I look like I know what I'm doing, they also tell me the moment I open my mouth I sound foreign. Apparently asking questions isn't polite. 3. What is your favorite body feature? Hands, hands are amazing. But so are paws. Good thing I have both. 4. How physically fit are you? I can run and jump more than people I normally see, and I can track prey for miles and miles. 5. How do you typically dress and what is your style? Simple, and people think I'm odd for not always remembering pants. Family : 1. Who are your parents and what are they like? I never knew my parents. My brother and sister raised me from a pup, or so they say. 2. Do you have any brothers or sisters? Yes, one of each. My brother is big and quite, like a bear. I saw him throw a rock the size of his head hard enough to break it into pieces once. Telen was always a little scary, but he always listened to our sister even though she was younger than him. My sister was really nice, and clever, she was always trying new things. She loved the ocean, that's why she left. 3. What is your extended family like? I don't know them. 4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family? They're here aren't they? My family isn't. 5. Do you treat animals like family? Yes, some at least, don't you? Location : 1. Where were you born? My sister told me I was born not far from the lake Ravok sits on. 2. Where do you live now? I live in Ravok now. 3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be? I'm not sure if it exists. But I'd want to go to a forest that didn't have too many monsters, one that was really pretty in fall. I love the fall. All the leaves turning colors, setting the trees on fire but without the smoke. I think it would be amazing if there were others like me there too, or maybe just one. I want to find someone, I just don't know who it is or why I want to find them. It's like I'm missing someone I never met. 4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time? Not yet, the lakeshore is nice though. 5. Where do you fear to be? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't want to be on a slave carriage. They smell of death and fear, and there isn't anything to do about it. Traits : 1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?) No, my sister broke her arm when I was little. That was scary, I can't imagine not using an arm for so long. At least two seasons seems like a really long time. 2. Are you right handed or left handed? I can use both, unless I'm trying to practice letters, then I use my right so I don't smudge the ink. 3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent? I speak what most people speak, common. I also can communicate with most dogs, better if they're wolves. 4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I like to watch people. This gets me in trouble sometimes. I also seem to tap my fingers on my left hand against my thumb in order, it helps me think. 5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ? I think some of the tattoos I have seen are beautiful. My sister had one across her collarbones, I couldn't read it, but she said it was a saying about strength. If I got a tattoo, I would want it to be something like that. Occupations : 1. What is your occupation? I'm a hunter. I provide game to some local places. 2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why? I like it, it gives me a reason to go run in the woods without making the suspicious people... suspect anything. 3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? I don't know. I want to travel some, maybe I will know soon. 4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why? The healers, they do a lot of work and most people aren't that grateful. I don't think I could do it, I don't mind blood but I don't know what to do when people cry. Healers are just so...good at being with people. 5. What occupation do you least like? Why? Fishing, sometimes you get the pinching crabs, I don't like them. One pulled out some of my whiskers when I was little, I was just trying to get a closer look at it. Childhood : 1. What sort of child were you? Um...I don't know. I don't have a lot of experience with other children, it was just me growing up with my siblings...but they were already grown. It was a little lonely. 2. What is your favorite memory from childhood? One time my sister and I wanted to play a joke on our brother. A few days earlier my sister's pet goose had hatched a few dozen eggs. We went into Telen's room while he was sleeping and put all the goslings in his bed with him. They were already tired so they snuggled up to him and went to sleep, when we went in to wake him the next morning the goslings had pooped everywhere. I do mean everywhere, all over the bedsheets and Telen too. He scared the poor things when he woke up and then he chased my sister and I around the woods for nearly an hour....it was a good day. 3. What is your worst memory from childhood? My brother and sister had to go somewhere when I was a year old. They left at sunset and didn't come back until sunset the next day, but I had forgotten and spent all day trying to find them. I thought I was going to be all alone, they hadn't told me about the farms farther down the lakeshore yet, and I was scared. That was a bad day. 4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents? I didn't. 5. Who was your most influential role model? My sister, she was always teaching me things. She liked that I learned quick. She was going to teach me to read but we only got as far as letters before she and Telen said they had to go to Zeltiva. Education : 1. What sort of education do you have? My sister taught me a lot! How to hunt, how to make letters, how to match boots to clothing. We never got around to actually reading though. 2. Do you like/dislike learning? I love learning! Everything is so new and amazing, every day is new. It gets tiring sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. 3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities? My sister, and just doing things myself. You get really good at hunting when you're hungry. 4. How do you learn best? By copying people. My sister could run over almost any terrain, I'm not as good at it as she is but I'm getting there by practicing. 5. What are your educational goals for the future? I want to learn to read, and cook. Meat tastes good on four legs but on two legs I liked the stuff my sister made better. Relationships : 1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not? Not yet, I don't really know anyone. 2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not? I don't know. It depends on the person. I guess I give people a chance before deciding if I trust them or not. 3. Have you ever been drunk? If so, describe your first time. Yes, my brother made moonshine for my sister once. She shared with me and everything got really fuzzy. We giggled and giggled, until she started vomiting, and I fell asleep. 2. Do you like to drink on a regular basis? No, it seems like a special occasion thing to me. 3. Greetings! I'm Nemesis, the DS of Ravok. I've noticed a few problems with your Character Sheet that you should probably take a look at. Until these issues have been resolved, I'm afraid you cannot post IC in any of Mizahar's cities.

• In your PM to me you said that Solen was well adjusted to civilised life and being around humans but your CS says that he only joined Ravok in the past season, at most?
• Kelvic wolf or not, one cannot live in the wilderness without points in Wilderness Survival. Also, two human children living in the wilderness too? Can you clarify and expand upon your history because, as it is, it isn't really feasible.
• The "Lore of the Kelvic" is far too broad. Can you specify what you mean, please?
• One becomes competent in a skill when they reach 26 points in it, not 25.
• Your Canine language can be listed as Fluent, rather than Basic.
• I know that the season end is a long way off but, for sake of ease, can you list the season by the rent.
