Kiren Vena (The Loyalist) (Hosted by photobucket) Basic Information Race: Kelvic Birthday & Age: Spring 508 AV 1 and ½ years old Gender: Female Homeland: Avanthal Physical Description Kiren is a slightly on the taller side of the scale. She stands at 6’3” in her human form and weighs around 120 pounds. She has sleek black hair, along with topaz highlights that match her fur of her animal form. She has an athletic build, due to her high activity. She isn’t built like an Isur, but she is built nonetheless. She has hazel-green eyes with cat like slits in them, the same ones she has in her leopard form. She has fair skin that when light hits it, it has a tendency to shine in the right light. She has elongated canines that come from her animal form, which unless inspected upon with a keen eye, they would never be discovered as unusual. Her jaw is long and curves at the bottom by her chin, giving her a unique form. In her clouded leopard form, Kiren is a sight to behold. Weighing in at 45 pounds, she has a slightly slender body that is accented by muscles. It is clear that she has a body fit for hunting, running, and other high energy activities. She has a head-body length of 30 inches that matches her sturdy build, along with a 27 inch tail. One of her most prominent features is her teeth. She has elongated canine teeth which measure at 2 inches. They often intimidate people when Kiren encounters people in her clouded leopard form; however, she only uses them in defence and when she needs to eat. Her fur is a soft topaz, which has black ellipses that are often mistaken as clouds. She has short, flexible legs, but she is not to be underestimated, for the fact that she is very agile and a great climber. In her human and animal form, Kiren has acute hearing and sight, as well as acute night vision as well, and is very agile, due to her animalistic traits. Clouded Leopard : Character Concept Kiren is one of the nicest beings there is. Don’t underestimate her, she is part wild animal. But unless there is anyone or anything that angers her or gets her upset, she is one of the most loving creatures there is. She’s very loyal to those that she respects, and even has some respect for those she doesn’t know that well. Most of the time, she’s a very loving person, who wants to believe everyone at their word. But her instincts, animal and human, tend to prevent anyone from getting close to Kiren that she gets a bad feeling about. When angered, Kiren has a tendency to unleash the beast within her, that more often than not, goes after the kill. Other than her angered states, she is a fun loving person who is a joy to be around. When she gets to drinking, all her inhibitions drop, and she becomes very affectionate. She loves pleasing others, in hope that she will one day find her bond mate. Once she has found her bond mate, she plans on devoting most of her time to him, to ensure that he is happy. Character History Kiren was born to a Kailasa and Rhysa Vena, who were both Kelvics living in the Frostfawn Hold. Her father Kailasa was a lion Kelvic, her mother Rhysa a cheetah. As the Kelvic reproduction goes, Kiren is neither a lion nor a cheetah, but in fact a clouded leopard. Her parents were very lucky to be blessed with a daughter that was in the same family, which doesn’t happen often. Kiren was born on Avanthal, where she currently resides today. Her parents had never been well off, but they needn’t be; all they needed was each other. In the early days of her birth, Kirens’ father had reached the age where he wasn’t going to last that much longer. Her parents hadn’t meant to wait so long to conceive her, but fate had it planned that way. Kailasa soon met his death in a peaceful manner, and was taken to a better place with the other Kelvics who had lived out their life cycle. Kiren didn’t quite understand why her father passed away quite yet, but that was due to the fact that she was still quite young. As soon as Kiren had her first shift a few days after her birth, her mother had set out to teach her about what was happening to her body and why. She learned hunting and such from the Hold they were a part of, as well as some from her mother. Her mother taught her about her body changes and such that derived from being a female Kelvic, but the Frostfawn hold taught her all her wilderness survival and hunting that she could fathom, as well as tracking and trapping her prey. A few weeks before Kiren turned one, Rhysa had met her time, and was taken by the Deities to a place for all timed out Kelvics, like her father. Kiren was left without a father and mother, and the Frostfawn Hold took her beneath their wings, caring for her and showing her the ways of how to survive. Due to her animalistic side, Kiren has a hard time trusting outsiders, especially if she gets a bad feeling about them. She uses her instincts to gage the situation or person(s) involved, and she makes her decision based on what she feels. She is searching for a bond mate to please, but has found no such luck thus far.
