Alex spread her black wings and took flight through the forest. The moonlight made her feathers seem like they were metallic as she flew quickly throughout the silent forest. She flew for a few more minutes before landing in the shadows on a branch as she peered into the open field at the forests edge searching. She looked out into the field every night and gazed at the road hoping that one night a young woman would possibly be on the path to the nearest town. As Alex sat there quiet she listened, and listened. Suddenly a figure appeared and the crow began to get excited. A woman came into view, Alex could tell that she was beautiful and that she was alone. The crow watched the young woman closely
