Phuri Tro’Jaru Appearance Race: Kelvic (Lion) Gender: Male Age: 5 years of age [Though appears 20-25 whilst human] Birthday: 29, Summer, 510 AV Birthplace: Sunberth Appearance Human form: Phuri stands at 6’5” weighing at about 170 lbs. His skin is flawless save for a scar on his chest that stretched from his right shoulder to his left pectoral, the mark slightly puckered and discolored on his light brown skin. Having spent a lot of time in the wild and surviving himself, Phuri is quite muscled, though also lean and light on his feet. Phuri being of the lion, he has quite a few features seen only in the wild, only in other Great Cats that he looks so much like when he shifts. Phuri’s eyes are exactly the same as his lion form: big and dull orange, without a hint of white showing. Small black pupils swivel about constantly so he always knows his surroundings. Phuri Tor’Jaru loves his hair, and keeps it well. He had long dreadlocks, reaching mid-chest. I took on a naturally light brown color, though it became lighter as it got longer. He had a strong jaw that jutted forward ever so slightly, enabling his mouth to contain his quite queer teeth. He contained four incisors total, two top and two bottom, that were human-sized save for the sharp points. They were positioned were regular man had his incisors, though his were slightly larger and sharper. Four canines, two also on top and two on bottom, were next to his incisors, on the outside. These were notably larger than all of his teeth, though they barely poked out from his top lip. At the back of his mouth were four carnassial, very sharp teeth that cut meat with ease. Though unnoticeable while he kept his mouth shut, his teeth were the biggest cause of alarm when he was around people. Lion form: Phuri’s lion form is totally indistinguishable from other male lions, so he could easily be mistaken for a completely wild animal. Whilst a lion, Phuri weighs about 189kg, all of it pure muscle. His shoulder height is 120 cm, making him not much bigger or smaller than many male lions. Behind him, always whipping about, is a tail the same light orange color of his fur. He is quite sensitive about his tail, and would roar at anyone that touched it without permission. His most prominent feature was his great big mane. Giant and bushy, it is an orange color, though darker in some places. His mane was also streaked with black here and there. His big orange eyes are a dull orange, and could see great distances. Below them was his snout, leading to his nose. His nose was tip-top, able to sniff and track animals from miles around. His human form also shared this trait. His teeth while a lion are much like his human teeth, though all teeth save for his canines and carnassial were incisors. His canines became quite larger while in his animal form, also. Character Concept Phuri is most like any other human, save for his hair. It would probably be what people most remembered of him, if they hadn’t yet seen his teeth. To anyone passing him, he would seem regal, his graceful lope speaking of his great pride, strength, and lineage. He could be seen talking to anyone, himself being quite friendly and loving to meet new people. Phuri is quite jolly; the first to laugh at a joke, and the last to calm. He cracks jokes at everyone's expense, even his own, without regard, unless he finds it most inappropriate, which has made him a god person-reader. He surrounds himself with friends and allies, people who he would help in a fight and get drunk with in a bar, though he is only 5 years. While he is quite jolly and a joker and prankster, Phuri has a short temper. Many things irritate him, and it only takes a small amount of time doing one of those irritating things to set him off. When in a rage, he may become quite violent and hard to calm, lashing out at everything and everyone. Just a small trait from the lion, a predator of the wild. Phuri is a natural born hunter, built for the kill while both human and animal. 4 years in the wild has honed his hunting skills and stealth well, though they could be way better. He finds taking a hunting trip every 3 days helps him stay in shape, become better, and show who is predator and who is prey. Character History Phuri was born into slavery in Sunberth, where his mother was kept as a housemaid. He did not know his mother, as a few days after his birth his mother sent him away without her master’s knowledge, so that he may have a better life. He was sent to Syliras with a peasant of Sunberth, who had been given stolen money to get him there without harm. On the way to Syliras, the peasant found that the infant grew at incredible rates. This alarmed him, and he was very superstitious. He had never seen a Kelvic, so he thought the baby was possessed and would grew to do a demon’s bidding. Dumping him after a few weeks, the peasant rode off, never looking back. When he was ditched, Phuri was the size of a 7 year old, and his lion form the size of a teen. Being quite big as a lion and able to catch prey quite easy, he stayed like that for awhile, surviving off of the land. His human growth had slowed now, though he grew a lot faster than any other race. Easily able to live and being one of the biggest predators around, Phuri stayed well away from cities. After 5 years living in solitude, Phuri found he craved the companionship of another, and it was getting stronger each passing day. Finally, unable to stand it any longer, he raced to the nearest city, Syliras, where his mother wanted him to go, to begin his life anew.
