Just thought I'd post a little hello and introduction. I've been stalking and reading the Lore for weeks and finally finishing up my CS (the history has become quite a monster, so I'm working on that). So without further ado!
1. Name - or what you'd like to be called!
You can call me Liat, or my real name is Rachel (or hey even that girl will work

2. What sort of RP experience do you have if any?
I've been roleplaying ever since my tween phase (maybe about 8 to 10 years?) when I discovered a site which was a bit like this one. It was much smaller in scale and unfortunately closed not long after I joined, but I was hooked.
3. How did you find us?
I actually found this site a couple years ago through either a best list or google but never joined due to busyness in real life. I've had it saved in my favorites since then.
4. What sort of RP style is your favorite?
I don't really have a style per se, but medieval fantasy in general has always been my favorite genre. I tend to write about whatever speaks to me in terms of the initial character creation. Sometimes, it's a comedic character, others a warrior, or like now, a healer.
5. What do you like to write about - not write about?
I don't really dislike writing anything, but I do have difficulties in some areas over others. Writing combat threads has always been more of a challenge for me since I find it hard to reach a decent word count when much of what your writing is the attempt to give or block one blow (and give alternatives). I'm very much a surroundings type of poster where I'll really immerse myself and others into the scenario and my character's reactions/thoughts. Therefore, lately I've been trying to balance out my posts more.
6. Whats your favorite thing about Mizahar so far?
I'd have to say the organization. The sheer amount of man power and the hours of brainstorming and writing to get this site to the place it is today is beyond belief. I'm so impressed with the work and passion put into this place. So, to all the staff and contributors Bravo!

7. What, if anything, has frustrated you about Mizahar so far?
With my lurking, I've noticed there seems to be a lag in grading due to lack of personnel/the sheer amount of players (not completely sure if this is still a huge problem as I haven't combed every thread

8. What would you like out of the mizahar experience?
The only things I'm expecting are a great time, some great people, and hopefully some great threads.

Also gonna eventually try to take a stab at contributing as mentioned above.
9. Is there anything you'd like to see expanded?
I'd love to see the Eyktol region open back up, but I am partial.
Otherwise, I'd love to see more expansion on herbalism and perhaps a separate wiki for the herbs/medicines/drugs currently acknowledged on the price list. The information is there. It's just hard to peruse in the current format when looking for something in particular.
10. Anything else you want to talk about?
Well, I hope to speak with a bunch of you and I hope we have engaging threads! Liat will be starting in Riverfall so if your PC is there or headed there, maybe they will meet

Also, if you have any suggestions on applying the midwifing profession (what herbs, tools, etc.) feel free to point me in the right direction. I'm currently using a variety of sources on old practices as well as what's currently listed in terms of herbs so I'm pretty set-up to begin with, but input would be appreciated!
Additionally, if anyone has any advice they wish they had known when starting out, please share!
