x x Funel's Ink The Funel’s Ink tattoo studio is a small tattoo salon with little to no reputation is located in the Dock area somewhere on the edge of The Plaza of Dark Delights. The two stories high building is painted in a chocolate brown color that seems to be peeling off to revile the previous, red color of the building. It has 7 average sized windows with black frames. A little less than an average sized balcony on the second floor is right above the dark wood entrance door which has a simple name tag “Funel’s Ink” on it. The balcony has cultivated green vine plants that are used to attract the attention of the passing eyes, and as a playground for a furless cat, the pet of the salon’s owner. This small and unpopular salon is owned by a young man named Matthew. The salon first opened its door after his father’s accidental death during a fishing trip on the lake. In the honor of his father, Matthew named the salon after the Funel Shark, the myth of Ravok that his father had spent his whole life on, trying to catch. Matthew was sure that tattoos would be a good way to earn money and put the building to good use. The man gives his undivided attention to every and all clients, doing all in his power to have them leave with a smile and a work of art on their body. Nobody really was aware of how and why she was captured, but she was used as a slave for an influential member of the Ebonstryfe, who had also been practicing his fighting with the woman. Years later, Caranel was born, she was written off as a child of another of the man’s slaves, but rumors has it that she is actually his own daughter. None the less, Caranel has never been interested in it, as she had never known her mother – she was sold to other slavers after birth. Initially trained as a fighter and guard, she broke her leg and was of little use to her owner from that point on. And two years later, at the age of 18, she was sold to Mathew who toke pity on the girl. Not to mention, she was a cheap slave and he needed help around the salon. Credit to location for Amolina.
