Standing at the height of 6’0”, and weighing in at roughly 200 lbs., Janikke is a robust, powerfully built woman of dark, ebony skin and glossy hair. Her skin tone is softly highlighted; thus giving her otherwise stern features a gentler appearance. In order to keep her locks out of her vision, she is often found with a tight, coiling bun atop her head. However, when she does not put forth the effort to tame her hair, it drifts over her shoulders in wavy cascades. Rich, dark eyes are an additional feature of her regal visage. Due to her muted and, more often than not, impassive gaze, her emotional responses are sometimes completely imperceptible to others, causing her to have an aura of obscurity and intimidation.
Janikke’s body type can be described as the epitome of femininity, with ample curves to compliment her considerable height. She carries a majority of her weight towards her hips, breast, and legs, and her stomach is soft, without definable muscle structures. She has minor skin imperfections, such as stretch marks. However, she tends to be oddly imaginative and inattentive at times, often allowing her mind to wander at inappropriate times. In harmony with these traits, Janikke tends to impulsively change the subject of a conversation.
Despite being an easygoing and mild soul, Janikke does, in fact, tend to question authority. Of course, not in such a way that is confrontational or demanding, but her wandering tendencies cause her to frequently disobey established rules. Because of the Lhavitians’ disciplined approach to matters, this does not always sit over well with her colleagues and higher-ups. Character History
Illegitimately born to a nomadic mother, Janikke was ultimately left with her aunt, Emelie, moons following her arrival into the world. The two were and continue to be close companions, and Janikke plans to end her adventures whenever Emelie enters a state in which she needs someone more able-bodied to care for her, specifically when she becomes elderly. Presently, though, Emelie is young and in good health; this allows Janikke to work and travel as she pleases without worrying over her relative.
Janikke was raised to be a self-reliant and sufficient worker, and she was employed at a young age to aid in building projects within the towns and agricultural endeavours, and continued such trades well into her young adulthood. Because of the generally amiable living most make in Lhavit, she rarely experienced many negatively impactful happenings in her living environment. Her easygoing personality is most likely a product of her equally tranquil life. Despite these savoury factors, however, Janikke has a thirst for adventure. She is, more often than not, working within the Yatani groves, or blowing glass in order to help in architectural construction so she may obtain more profit, so perhaps in the future, she may cater to her wanderlust.
