Nayeli Appearance Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 19 Birthday: Winter, Day 15, 495AV Birthplace: Endrykas, Emerald Clan Appearance: Nayeli has black, almond-shaped eyes and long, wavy black hair decorated with charms, ribbons, and braids. Her skin is light brown and she has a big tattoo of her strider on her chest. Her body is slim with small breasts and long legs. Character Concept Nayeli is an energetic woman, full of curiosity and a passion for learning. Intelligent, dedicated, and ambitious, once she sets her mind on something, there is no stopping her. Nayeli masters skills with ease and is always working to improve on them. However, because of her restless nature, the skills she prefers acquiring are mostly the ones that satisfy her need for action and adventure. Around others, Nayeli appears confident and never shies away from saying what she thinks. She loves to laugh and talk with others, exchanging stories and discussing her interests. She's kindhearted and helpful and while she makes friends easily, Nayeli lets very few get close. In fact, she often gives the impression that in terms of friendships, she could take them or leave them. Nayeli's independence and freedom are more important to her than relationships. She's a bit rare among Drykas', as Nayeli isn't as expressive as they typically are. She expresses anger, but other emotions she prefers to keep to herself. She's more insecure than she looks and needs recognition from others to feel good about herself. For this reason, Nayeli pushes herself constantly to achieve higher skill levels. Towards her immediate family - her mother, grandparents, and siblings - Nayeli is loyal, protective, and caring. She dedicates herself to providing for and protecting those she cares about. She's also someone who feels a deep connection towards animals and naturally develops strong bonds with them. In fact, she seems to enjoy being around animals more than people. Character History Nayeli's father died when she was eight, after a violent glassbeaks' attack. Many were injured and unfortunately, since her father was right in the heat of the action, the attack killed him. After her father's death, Nayeli became determined to become a skilled hunter and fighter. She wanted to make him proud - but it was also for the sake of her family, in order to better protect and provide for them. From that time onward, Nayeli worked towards this goal with a rock-solid determination. When Nayeli was fourteen, she bonded with her first strider, a beautiful brown horse with a stubborn personality. While everyone else in her clan found the horse impossible to tame, Nayeli seemed to connect with the horse instantly. It was if the two had always been together and had always been the closest of friends. Nayeli later decided to have her windmark tattoo on her chest, where it would be the most visible. She wanted all to know how much her strider meant to her. As her relationship to her strider grew stronger, so did Nayeli's connection to all animals. Her ability to communicate, train, and take care of animals impressed her clan.
