Childhood Konti Jounral - Is it Yours?

Hello Mizahar Konti,

So, I wrote a thread today where Ayszel purchased a little pink leather journal written by a Konti Child. It was described as largely a collection of lullabies and what not. I thought I would put this out there because I thought it would be interesting if anyone wanted to claim this as their long lost Konti childhood journal!

Let me know if you're interested and we can chit chat about it. Perhaps, through the journal Ayszel ends up dreaming with your character, or even the last page ends with them writing which city they have moved to (and in doing so lost the journal, I imagine) and Ayszel may take a chance at writing to the city, hoping that the letter gets to you.

Hi Ayszel,

This is a really interesting idea and I'd be more than happy to be a part of it. I've been meaning to do some sort of dreaming thread at some point, and just haven't got round to it yet.

Anouk is very artistic and a lover of songs and music, so she would have been the sort of child to have definitely had a diary to note down such things. I've been meaning to work it into her pre-creation history that she travelled to Abura with her family, and perhaps that's when she lost the diary? Though this may make it more difficult for Ayszel to get a letter to her, but if we threaded in the dreamscapes beforehand, maybe Anouk can share her current location?

Anyway, I'd love to be apart of this idea and it's truly an interesting way for two PCs to meet and socialise!

Hi Anouk,

I am glad you like the idea. I thought it would be a fun little quirky thing as well. I'll PM you later today or tomorrow and we can talk about how to work the diary.

Unfortunately, you can't take any information from a dream into the waking world nor is one conscious when dreaming/able to control their actions. So I think it would be a little tenuous that Anouk would share that or that Ayszel would remember it. However, it could of course be that the letter makes it to Abura and someone there recognizes Anouks name and it slowly but surely makes its way to Anouk. Perhaps even with a couple accompanying letters from those who helped pass it on? Of course, in that case it wouldn't likely make it to you until half a year later or some such, which is fine by me.

For the Dreamscapes, I thought it would be a neat idea to have Ayszel fall asleep while reading the diary. In the mentality of the young girl that wrote it and that's what links the two souls together in the dreamworld. Does that sound alright to you?

Ah, I see. Yes, it wouldn't be unheard of for the letter to reach Anouk from Abura. For lack of a better alternative, I may make it that one of her sisters currently resides there. This would work for getting Anouk to receive the letter and it would also give me a reason to have her visit there later on in the year.
