10th of Summer
[not complete]
The whole world is filled with endless possibilities. It is filled with things that have been done, things that have not been done, different people who have not been met, amazing things that have yet to be seen, and much more. It was Light's belief in those endless possibilities that kept his spirits up that one day he would be an important figure in the ebonstryfe.
And so he trained.
He trained and trained so that one day that possibility of his could turn into something more.
Today he would begin his training with one thing that he knew others could hardly grasp. This was magic, the amazing yet dangerous art that was one of the closest powers anyone with magic could come to being a god.
Light began his training as he always did, with magic warm up exercises. He sat in the middle of an open field and began to meditate. What he did first was get into a deep state of piece. By breathing in and out and closing his eyes he could slowly fall into that state. When he finally made it to the point of consciousness where only he and his thoughts relied in the world, Light would begin to disperse djed.
It would slowly fall out his pores and float above his head, dancing around him like that of a dragonfly. It would twirl around his head first, then his body, growing to the size of a fully grown anaconda the more djed he added to it.
"Alright..." Light said to himself as he still meditated, controlling large amount of djed created by him. "It seems I mastered dispersing... Now time to use it."
Light opened his eyes then stood up from his sitting position. He turned what he had just created into a giant ball of djed, which would be the only amount of djed he would be using for the day. From the giant ball of djed spawned a miniature one. Light held out his hand and it flowed into his palm.
"Today," he said to himself. "I am going to master the wind ball."
Light stepped to the side and began to concentrate.
The wind ball was a much complicated technique to use when compared to the fireball. Whereas the fireball required outer res to only be ignited, the wind ball required inner res to be turned into wild pieces of air which could only be maintained by the outer res. So while Light had to maintain the outer res, he had to keep the inner so violent that it could actually do damage.
This was a very difficult technique for Light.
So he did as he was once instructed as a child. Light concentrated on first turning every part of this tiny ball into white res. Then he began with the deep inner portion of the ball, which was the core. He spun the innards around, slowly developing it into wind. He made the wind spin inside the ball a little bit, stirring up the next layer of the ball so that it would be easier to turn. It took a lot of concentration to transform only that tiny piece. The large ball of djed before had been splattered to the earths soil because he no longer had his focus on that.
