Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Nikia on June 28th, 2015, 10:14 am

36th of Summer 515 A.V

Run. Faster. Longer. I need to be quicker. Nikia thought as she was running, through the woods, on her way to Sunset Falls. The warm summer breeze ran freely through her silver-white fur. The smell of Pine and Nobel trees rushing in Nikias nostrils' as she breaths heavily trying to catch her breath in between each stride she takes. Twigs and dried leaving crushing beneath her paws as if someone was walking on a thin sheet if ice. Nikia's crystal blue eyes narrowed down her path, catching the sight of the waterfalls, as she gets closer and closer towards her destination. A feeling of relief grows stronger as she hears the water crashing down the rocks like the sound of the ocean. Almost there. Just a few more strides.

As Nikia passed through the entrance way of the Falls, she slowed down to catch her breath. She sat on her hine legs, embracing the view of the beautiful waterfall for a few moments. She then let out a longing howl of accomplishment. The waters reflection showed the sky growing darker and darker the more the day went on. Rocks stood around the outside of the pool of water, allowing it to be a good drinking spot for Nikia to replenish her strength. Everything was as she hoped for on a wonderful evening such as, this night. The hard, rocky, dirt transitioned into a soft feeling of grass beneath her paws as she started looking for a more private place to shift. She was content.

She found a spot off to the right of the falls. Nikia closed her eyes for a few seconds while she shifted into her human form. She came out from behind the tree, stretching, as she was walking toward to the pool of water. When she approaches it, Nikia extended her leg to dip her toe in it. Testing the waters. It didn't feel to bad. She closed her eyes and jumped in creating a splash and a rippling effect. The water wasn't cold, but rather a little warm. It felt wonderful on her skin, especially her hand and feet. When it was time for Nikia to come up for air, she reaches and grabbed one of the rocks to pull herself up. Once she got up, and out of the water, her skin glistened beautifully as the water ran down her naked body. When she was able to get comfortable, she wiped the water from her face and began to ring her hair to keep the water from dripping. Nikia then takes a deep breath as she embraces the soothing smell of the trees while tilting her head back. Feeling the drops of water running down her body as she moves her legs back and forth in the water. The moon reflecting on her wet skin. An evening filled with wonder and curiosity.

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Beodan Clathony on July 7th, 2015, 6:12 pm

Muffled hoof steps could be heard as the Horse Kelvic walked through the trees in search of rare clumps of clover growing despite the carpeting of leaves and bits of wood shed from the trees above. Upon finding a young growth, he let out a nicker and bit into the poor clover. It never stood a chance, and was quickly chewed and was now making its way into the great animal’s stomach. The light of no longer touched the treetops, but the world was still cast in an aethereal glow. The moon was on the rise, only adding to the enchanting look of the forest around the Falls.

Beodan’s ears pricked forwards, standing stiffly straight up. Leaves crunched far off, getting closer and closer, heading towards the Falls. He brought his head up to look in the direction of the sound that had caused alarm, and saw a single wolf running past him about 40 meters away in the woods. He dare not move, fearing to alert this beast that would seek to have a horse for his supper. Though there was only one he could see, and it was not the color of normal wolves in this temperate forest area. His head turned to the side to follow the oddity who had not gave him so much as a glance in their haste. After waiting until the wolf had gone far enough to not hear him if it had stopped to listen for him, he trotted up to where the wolf had stepped, noting the crushed leaves where the great paws had landed. He bent his head down and sniffed. Definitely a wolf, and yet, lingering human scent too. Maybe it had gotten to eat one earlier today, and it was running because other humans were chasing it off.

Dan’s curiosity got the better of him, and he set off through the trees, rapidly approaching the Falls. The wolf let out a terrible howl and he stopped a little ways away from the edge of the water. A snort escaped him, expressing his nervousness and fear at the howl. The wolf walked into his field of vision as it walked to the edge of the woods. Light flashed soon after, and he blinked with a soft click. Ah, a Kelvic, like me! He had not met one as far as he could recall, though he may have and just not noticed it. A young woman walked out, her silver hair practically glowing in the moon light. She moved towards the water’s edge with the confidence and grace of a predator, placing the tip of a foot in the cool liquid, then leaping in. Ripples bounced against the shore. Not seeing the girl, he walked to the edge of the water. The girl soon surfaced and climbed up the rocky edge, to sit, water streaming off of her naked body like little drops of captured moonlight. After a long moment of observation, he started towards where she was sitting, shifting mid stride, his feet hitting bare rocks. He came up to stand just behind her and said, “Lovely evening, isn’t it, Wolf-one?”

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Nikia on July 8th, 2015, 5:56 am

The evening was nice and calming. Relaxing even. A small breeze picked up and Nikia gave a simple smile. Her hair moving silently with the wind like a predator does being undetected. She closed her eyes, for a moment, and took a breath of the calming scent of the trees, along with everything around her. Nikia opened her eyes to see the leaves making a twirling effect and the grass moving like a wave seen in the ocean. The sounds of the water fall made her feel comfortable like a child with its blanket. Very pleasuring. Nikia concluded as she brought herself closer. She moved her knees up to her chest with her arm coating them while her head rested against her arms. When she was finishes adjusting herself, she looked like a sad girl.

Nikia took in another breath, but this time it was different. At first, she caught the scent of an animal near by. She lifted her head and took in a deep smell of another being. How can a scent change so sudden? She asked herself, remaining still, feeling as though she should flee. But, at the same time, she was curious and remained calm. The sound of the Falls drained out the other sounds around her. She was solely focused on the scene at hand. For a few minutes, she let her thoughts escape her mind. Until she heard a voice come from begin her.

Nikia jolted up, from where she had been sitting, startled. Not, completely, being aware of her surroundings, she felt as though she made a rookie mistake. Her body stood still except for her heart; racing. I should've paid more attention. Nikia stood silent as she watches the man, cautiously. Her crystal-blue eyes narrowed on him like a lion seeing its prey. Her stance took a dominant form. Nikia's shoulders were straight, her silver-white hair covered her breasts, she had her fists clenched, and she stood with her left leg in front of her right. Giving her body, like, an hour glass shape. As Nikia's body faced the man, she felt confident. "Yes it is, in fact," she spoke sincerely the continued, "who are you?"

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Beodan Clathony on July 8th, 2015, 4:53 pm

Stiffening, Beodan instinctively dropped his eyes at her powerful, predatory gaze. He could feel her eyes roam over him, as if she could see through his skin. He shuddered a little as he imagined sharp teeth ripping into his soft human form, and had to remind himself that they were both the same race currently. No predation here, right? If it came to that, horses were tough to take down on their own.

“I am Beodan, but call me Dan if you’d like,” the Horse Kelvic answered, his eyes tentatively meeting hers. He slowly approached her, passively and calmly, his eyes soft. He could see individual drops run down her body, and small streams coming out of the tips of her hair. It was matted down her chest, laying in dark clumps. He idly wondered if she was cold, if the summer's wind was stripping the water right off of her. He stood a few meters away from the girl now, his feet pressing on slightly damp rocks. “I would like to greet you properly,” he asked, hoping another Kelvic would be interested in partaking in an exchange of scents.

Stepping closer, he looked at her one more time for approval. They would bend their heads so that their chins were over the other’s right shoulder, allowing them to memorize the other’s scent. Granted, it was more of a horse thing to do it this way, but Dan did not think it would be too different from wolf customs. He tilted his head forward slightly, his eyes on her, waiting for her to respond in kind.

The young kelvic's eyes softened as she took note of the mans submissive actions, but continued to roam her eyes over him. Nikia changed her stance to a more comforting position. She dropped her shoulders, unclenched her tightened fists, and lightened up on her gaze to show that she's no longer feeling threatened. No that the surprise was over, Nikia gave a small smile. She was curious about the stranger, but kept her composure.

When Nikia hears the man speak, she was mesmerized by his voice. So simple and sincere that it reminded her of her father. Quickly, she averted her thoughts to this new encounters name. Dan. For a couple of minutes, she let his name echo throughout her head while silence took place until she spoke. "My name is Nikia. " she told him with softness in the tone of her voice.

Nikia heard Dan when he spoke to her once more. A proper greeting. She like the idea of formally introducing themselves by their scents. It may not be a human custom, but for a wolf, it's acceptable. When Dan started to close the gap between them, Nikia remained still. She hasn't had any human contact throughout her life. This was a new experience for her. Without the guidance of her father, Nikia decided for herself on how she should approach the stranger. She nodded at Dan with acceptance to his offer without saying a word.

Before she took a step, Nikia inhales and exhaled calmly. She took slow steps, closing the distance the rest of the way, as if she were someone who was going in a dark place by herself. Her hair continued to stay in the same place as she moved, divinely. She felt her body almost completely dry with the help of the summer breeze brushing against her soft skin. Her beautiful body looked elegant with her hour glass figure. She was secure and comfortable in her own way.

Now Nikia was inches away from Dan, still keeping her composure, she felt safe close to him. She was felt uncertain of this feeling as to why she felt safe with a stranger, but noted the feeling. Nikia observed Dan for a short time before she tilted her head to get his scent. She gazed in his eyes and smiled a little more at him. She then tilted her head and moves her body just slightly close to his. Nikia closes her eyes as she inhaled deeply getting his scent. Solely focusing on him at hand.

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Beodan Clathony on July 9th, 2015, 5:24 pm

Nikia, what a nice name, the Horse Kelvic thought. It seemed to capture her slender figure and aura of confidence in just so few letters. He had waited in silence for her to speak, but he did not mind. The moon cast the falls in silver as thin as air, the water seeming to be a liquid form of the precious metal. Earlier, when she had relaxed her posture, he let out a breath he had not known he was holding, glad that she was not going to try to bite him.

She gave a nod to his request and Dan felt excitement begin to rise in him. It was so rare he got to do this as a horse, and probably never had as a human. He waited for her to close the rest of the gap between them. Her long exhale was barely audible against the roar of the falls so nearby, which strived to coat their hair in its fine mist. Though, by now her body had almost dried completely. Finally, after a heavy moment, she stepped forward. She looked beautiful standing there in the moonlight, her hair flowing behind her. Like a river of silver. She was a finger’s length away from him now, he could feel the heat of her body mingling with his own.

Eyes chiseled from ice flitted around his face, drinking him in, while gentle pools of chocolate gazed back steadily. He leaned in as she did to get into the final position for their ritual. He bent down so that they would be at a more similar height, and pressed his neck against hers, feeling the soft skin and the occasional wisp of hair. Their bodies touched as they began to share in each other's essence. She smelled very feminine, the unique scent that was her made up of a medley of wolf and human combined. Slightly of pine needles, and prey. A hint of flowers too. He could feel her life blood flow through her, beat by beat, as their necks were entwined.

The contact felt good. He had not realized how much he had been craving intimacy, even in a simple form such as this. It was just something about it that made him feel a little more fulfilled, the void in his chest shrinking slightly with this interaction. He stayed still, relaxing ever more as they continued the greeting.

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Nikia on July 10th, 2015, 5:43 am

Dan's scent rushes through Nikia's nose like a wave crashing over some rocks on the shore line. The smell of him was intoxicating to her. His essence smelt of a strong male, as well as, the beast within. An intense feeling has driven throughout her body, leaving it tingling, yet comforting. His touch put her in a trance, so compelling, only to feel like nothing can interrupt it. This feeling. What is it? She thought, curiously. Still attached to the note she felt seconds ago.

Moments have passed and Nikia took in her final breath of him. She opened her eyes to find him closer then he was before, but didn't mind it. It felt nice to her to be so close with someone. And to share an intimate moment, also. Something she's never done with anyone else before.

Her eyes began to drift up in the sky, seeing the stars sparkle so beautifully above her. Her hair started to run freely as the wind began to pick up. It's a beautiful night out. With the wind moving a little bit harder, Nikia's body shivered. Hoping it wasn't enough for Dan to notice. All she wanted to do was put her arms against his chest to keep warm, but decided not to because it wasn't appropriate. Besides his scent, Nikia took in her surroundings. The fragrance of pines, nobels, and flowers lingered within the trees and the bushes were consuming. They were so beautifully mixed. Almost as if she were in a dream of her own.

She averted her attention back on Dan. Still no word coming from her lips. She felt content. I wish I knew what he is thinking.

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Beodan Clathony on July 10th, 2015, 4:31 pm

The Wolf Kelvic’s scent fixed itself in his memories, probably able to be recognised for many years to come. Dan wondered if she would remember him as well. Seeing her look up, he shifted his gaze to the heavens as well. Each droplet of mist that was caught by the night air seemed to become a new star, shining with light reflected from the moon. That in addition to the already countless twinkling celestial bodies ensured that he was awed.

The wind picked up with a powerful gust, as if trying to blow them away from this place that was too perfect for mortals to tread. Beodan felt a tremor run through Nikia’s slender frame and he tore his gaze down to her. She must have been cold, her once wet body and hair amplifying the already cool night. He brought her closer to him, his arms encircling her, wrapping her in his equestrian warmth. Her skin was cool against him, but not unpleasantly so. He looked eyes with her and smiled, expressing his happiness at the ritual and his willingness to share in his body heat.

The two of beast blood stood under the stars for a time, the world seeming to halt around them. Normal responsibilities brushed away with each gust of wind, replacing them with the forest’s perfume. It was growing steadily colder as the sun moved farther and farther from them, promising to return the next day. He could feel his feet chill. “What should we do, Nikia? It is growing quite cold,” he asked, showing the respect a hunter deserved.

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Nikia on July 11th, 2015, 4:03 am

The young kelvic's body began to warm as she felt the arms of another wrap himself around her, pulling her body into his. Nikia was pleased, but was also stunned by his actions without saying a word. Did he see my desire of him? She questioned herself. Nikia's smile grew more openly when she saw Dan's. Her blue eyes locked on his, revealing the loneliness and longing for a companion. Something she wanted for so long, but could never have. The warmth of his body, the feeling of his soft touch, and the intimate moment, such as this, revealed itself to Nikia. She could tell that he longed for an occasion, such as the moment for which they shared. Just as the young wolf girl did to. The feeling of enjoyment filled Nikia's heart and body. The moment. Dan. She would never want to forget.

"I would like to go for a run. You may join me if you'd like," Nikia asked, her voice sounding hopeful that he would not refuse her offer. Then continued, " I promise I wont bite." She added, letting a slight grin pass her lips and through her smile, which she effortlessly tried to hide. She waited patiently for his response, but only for a few minutes before she'd let herself slip away from his grasp on her. She took a breath and rested her head on his shoulder, enjoying his last touch.

Finally, she got the courage to release herself. Only to be standing an arms length away. She directed her attention to the sky once more. Enjoying the pleasure of the complete freedom she gets when the sun kisses her goodbye. The refection of the moons face sparkled in Nikia's eyes. Her long white-silver hair ran wild with the wind, like a group of wolves going out for a hunt. She moves her right hand closer to her face trying to catch the loose strands, that interrupted her vision, only to be placed behind her right ear. Her body was still. Giving itself the position she first had when Dan sneaked up behind her. Dominant like, but innocent. The sounds of the waterfall slowly came back to her. She almost forgot where she was. Her posture, so divine, looked like a picture had been taken of a beautiful girl that looked so curious about the world.

So mesmerized by the moon, Nikia managed to escape the scene and focused back on Dan. "Shall we?" She asked as she gestured toward the entrance of the Falls, giving Dan a longing look for approval. She smiled. Waited.

Sunset Falls Evening

Postby Beodan Clathony on July 11th, 2015, 4:40 am

The Wolf Kelvic’s eyes spoke volumes on isolation, a lonely existence likely lasting for much of her life, though he could not begin to guess for how long. Beodan’s eyes began to reflect hers, feelings rising up inside him. The icy pain of having no one to support, to hold, and to comfort you. He pulled her even closer to him, almost desperately, no longer to keep out the nip in the air, but the chill from within. Their bodies pressed together allowed the inner storm to skip over them, safe in each other’s arms. Or at least, that is what it felt like to him. He was glad he was spending his time with her, anyone really, rather than to be alone. And to think he had thought he did not mind being alone for a time.

“I would like to go for a run. You may join me if you’d like,” Nikia asked with slightly pleading voice, though still sounding very confident. He nodded shortly, movement restricted by their embrace. What she said next sound teasingly predatory, her sharp teeth flashing in a grin “I promise I wont bite.” Dan laughed softly, amused by her antics. Yet an extremely small part of him was filled with fear. She was teasing him, wasn't she? “I would love to ride with you, but I wonder if you could keep up!” he shot back, exchanging jabs. She had not yet seen his animal self yet as far as he knew. Maybe she was in for a surprise!

His teasing nature crumbled away when she let her head rest on his shoulder, leaving the soft underbelly of his nature exposed. He ran a hand through her mane of spun silver, marveling at the way it seemed to flow like liquid. Quicksilver. After a blissful second, or maybe an eternity, she slid away from him naturally. Nikia fixed her gaze on the moon, with the same entranced mask only found on other wolves. Dan’s was on her, and with similar fixation. She was a thing of awe, so powerful and so elegant. She was beautiful.

“We shall.” With a turn, and a gesture with his hand, he began to run, knowing she would catch him.
