Drayden Windblade Assassin of the Wind Basic Information Race: Drykas Birthday & Age : 486 AV (24 years old) Gender: Male Physical Description Drayden has a bronze complection and black hair. He stands at 5' 9" and has wide muscled shoulders. He has a short beard that looks as if he trims it with a dagger. His dark hair is always tied back in a braided ponytail and hidden under a low-hanging hood. His eyes are shimmering emeralds, full of experience despite his years. He is light on his feet and leanly muscled, only weighing about 156 pounds. Windmarks: Character Concept A novice assassin for hire, always attentive and ready to learn. At night he galavants through the city, killing his targets and protecting the civilians from tyrannical nobility. Full of blind anger and misplaced hate, he seeks a mentor and a father figure. Drayden was an orphan and only recent found this out, in a fit of rage and confusion he left his adoptive family in search of a new life. he searches for independence and friendship. Character History Drayden was adopted by a well known Diamond Clan family and taught to fight from a very young age. His life was good, living in a small cottage on the edge of a forest. At the tender age of 14 he received his windmarks after saving a wounded strider he found in the forest. After mending the striders wounds, he ventured into the forest in search of the beast who near murdered a mighty being. After days of tracking the beast, he found it to be a massive wolf. Fighting the wolf with nothing but his bare hands, he conquered the beast and trudged back to his home half dead. His parents woke to find him unconscious just outside the entrance to their pavillion. After he recovered Drayden had his windmarks and was congratulated for his amazing, if not foolish, conquest. The horse he saved was a wild stallion and was being held for Drayden. The strider was a whirlwind of kicks and anger until Drayden went to see him. To the surprise of everyone, the stallion became docile and gentle. When he let the strider leave, it returned everyday to see Drayden. When Drayden was 18 he discovered he was not who thought he was. He was adopted... His mother and father were killed just after he was born. He was consumed by rage and confusion above all else. He sat, lonely, on a large rock in the middle of a field staring up at the stars. From behind a long snout rubbed against his face, the stallion. Drayden threw his arms around the horses neck and, the two were forever bonded. The next few days were empty for him as he collected his things... To the despair of his mother and his many little brothers and sisters, He left on the back of his closest friend. A hard journey he has journeyed in search of truth and a new beginning...
