AppearanceAll that is gold does not glitter
Lrel is, as most Charoda, rather petite. Her rubbery skin is tight against her small frame, and her eyes are large in her face, creating an image of innocence were it not for the entirely black eyes.
Lrel has light green skin with short fins as "hair" on top of her head. Her fingers and toes are webbed, giving great water resistance for swimming, aided by the tight suit that she traditionally wears.
She wears no makeup, as her skin is odd-colored and naturally smooth. She does, however, enjoy decorating herself with jewelry (or anything shiny), and flowers or weeds of all kinds.
PersonalityIt's what's on the inside that counts
Lrel is a gentle pacifist and vegetarian, as per Charoda tradition. She will do no harm voluntarily, either physically or mentally. She if often seen as a motherly figure, despite her lack of children, and will eagerly take any others under her wing whatever the cost.
However, Lrel really prefers to live among her plants. She thrives on learning more about them, and studies them carefully each morning to take notes. She researches their medical uses as well as their usage in cooking, appreciating both skills as an art which she hopes to master.
Lrel was born alongside three siblings to a Charoda mother and father in Riverfall. They were raised by these parents for the first year of their life, but not long enough to remember their faces.
After the hatchlings turned one, their parents disappeared, leaving four struggling children to their own devices. Luckily, it was only a matter of chimes before the children were discovered by a Konti and taken into her home.
The four Charoda were raised by the Konti as if they were her own. She tried her best to teach them of both her own and Charoda tradition, so that they might stay close to their heritage as well as fit in with their surroundings. Of course, their mother had very little knowledge of Charbosi or Charoda culture herself, and so the children were left with next to nothing in the subject.
They attended school together, where they were able to grow and learn more. Each of them took to school eagerly, but none more than Lrel. She absorbed the knowledge like a sponge, and loved spending bells in the parks reading or copying from library books. A particular interest rose for flora.
It was not uncommon for Lrel to bring home plants she had found dying in order to revive them. Her mother found this habit worrying living in Riverfall, but Lrel was so in love with her work that her mother could not bear to separate her from it. As soon as she was old enough, Lrel's mother bought her a botany kit and helped her set up a series of pots in her home.
Though Lrel rarely goes home now, she loves her family and still writes them frequently. On Holidays they occasionally meet for a meal, but it is difficult to coordinate among all four of them.

HousingAnd another quote for the pile
Lrel resides in a 20x20 room in the Blue Gem in Riverfall. Inside, there is a rounded ceiling over a skyglass floor looking down into the bay waters. A pressurized shielded entrance is placed on one wall for private aquatic entrance.
Lrel owns a single bed, which sits in the middle of the room. To the left side of the bed, there is an hearth (which is never lit), and a chest for storage. On the other side, there is a small table and chair. The table is generally not functional, as it is more likely than not carefully covered with potted plants.
