Appearance: Cedar's figure is lithe, his body built for speed and flexibility instead of raw force. At six feet, Cedar strikes an impressive figure, his body tight with corded muscle. A lifetime of running on the sea of grass has stripped his body of any excess fat, his limbs wiry and trim. Cedar is young, and his face younger still; his face has maintained the softness of a much younger man. His eyes are coal black, contrasting his delicate lips and almost-tan skin. His hair is chocolate brown, deliciously thick and tangled. His nose is noble, trim and delicate, balancing out the expressiveness of his eyes and lips.

Character HistoryOnce upon a time, there live a child, second born to a third wife, he was cursed to non-importance. He gave this little thought however, because his mother loved and cared for him very much so; he would never need for attention while she lived, she would say.
The sea of grass was never a place to make such promises, this child would learn. A storm took her, fire catching from the sky. They fled there homes, and when the pavilion collected itself, it was discovered the third wife had been out paced by the fires they thought they had escaped.
The father, blessed with too many children, married again, and quickly. A witch slave, stolen from a group traveling from her lofty mountain home, promised to his father because she was beautiful.
The child, lonely and useless, bonded quickly with the newest wife, who gladly accepted his attention because she was lonely herself. She was quickly replaced with a prettier wife when she was found barren and unskilled.
For a time, the child was once again happy. He learned from the witch, who taught him to change shape, who taught him the common tongue, the language of her mountain people who worshiped the stars. The witch was surprised at how quickly he adapted to the magic, and how easily he learned Djed. She was happy too, because in some ways, the child had become hers, and she loved him.
The sea of grass is never a place to allow such happiness, as the child was quick to learn. The sky revolted in anger, refusing to let anyone forget his power. Lights escaped, magic mutated against nature, and people would die.
The child would survive though. He panicked, and with the magic that became his, he changed his shape and fled the storm. His pavilion wasn't as quick, and they would perish. His witch would die ensuring his survival.
And then he was alone. He was alive though, and he would be sure the grass did not take that from him as well.
