AppearanceRace: Kelvic [Sumatran Tiger; Yet to be Bonded]
Gender: Female
Age: In her human form, she is, technically, 17 years of age. As a tiger, she is nearly 2.
Birthday: 17, Summer, 513 AV
Birthplace: Born in Alvadas, but brought into the forest at the human age of 5, and raised there and in the city.
Appearance: In human form, Blair appears as a skinny, rather-shorter-than-normal girl. She stands at 4'10,
much smaller than other Kelvics. She weighs exactly 75 pounds, the minimum weight for a female Sumatran Tiger.
Her skin is relatively pale, her cheeks and nose speckled lightly with freckles. Her eyelashes are dark and long, framing light blue irises, which carry over to her animal form, strangely enough. Due to her being a tiger, her pupils are not slit like other feline Kelvics, but instead are rounded.
Her hair is a bright ginger, long and curly. It falls down to the small of her back.
Due to her tendency to shift into her feral form and not change back for months on end, she doesn't have a large wardrobe. When she does return to her two-legged body, she wears a ragged black linen shirt and black pants. Her shoes broke a long time ago, so she goes around barefoot.
As a tiger, she weighs the same as she does as a human. Since her breed is the smallest of the tiger species, she, as well, is rather petite. She is 85 inches in length, and 2.5 feet in height. Like all tigers, she is a light orange, streaked with beautiful, thick black stripes. Her underbelly is off-white color. Her fur is soft and thick- long enough for her to be warm, but short enough for her not to be
overly warm.
Character ConceptHer personality when she was younger differs greatly from her personality now.
Years ago, when I was younger*Mischievous- Rather roguish, Blair will do anything and everything for attention. She pranks her siblings daily, to the point where when she does they resort to violence to 'teach her a lesson'.
*Hateful- Due to the neglectful ways of her family, she has become a very jealous and angry child. Her dreams that she will one day be the star of her family are the only reason why she does not massacre them all.
*Hotheaded- She explodes at the silliest of things- the true wildfire of the Rappno family. This is one of the main things that fuel her harmful pranks.
*Clingy- As a result of her relatives lack of attention to her, when someone gives her the smallest bit of affection she clings to them like a bat to a tree branch.
*Rude- She often cannot control herself, spitting out the first thing she thinks when first meeting someone. These comments are usually rude, as are her actions to the person later on (which is her pranking them ruthlessly).
*Loud- As quiet as a stampede of elephants, Blair quickly and easily ruins the silent Rappno families reunions and feasts. This is one of the many reasons why her siblings try to avoid her.
That was then, but then it’s true *Shy- More timid than a mouse, she tends to stay away from others- the complete opposite of her younger self. This trait of hers goes hand-in-hand with her paranoia.
*Paranoid- Jumping at even the slightest of noises, Blair is, once again, entirely different from her living self. She fears that everyone, even people she has never talked to, hate her.
*Quiet- Now as silent as her older brother Casper (who was actually mute), she makes not a sound, content to merely fade from the memory of those around her.
*Patient- Now, she is more a listener than a speaker. She sits still as stone when waiting for something, and doesn't dare open her mouth to complain. If told to do so, the young Spirit would sit in the same spot for weeks on end.
*Insecure- Blair often ridicules herself in her head, harsh and cruel with herself. Now, the thought of tormenting another being causes her to do it to herself, instead. She thinks of herself as a worthless murderer, ugly and unwanted by all.
Character HistoryHer past was quite different from the one of other Kelvics.
Her parents refused to allow her to bond when she was young, telling others that they wanted to educate her a bit more in the ways of their family before handing her over to someone else.
Really, her parents wanted to make it harder for her to find a bondmate. No Kelvic from the Ragno and the Rapp families had found there bondmates, due to their reclusive nature. After all, the family lived scattered throughout the city in little, unnoticeable cabins or, in some of the more introverted cases, in the forest.
Fredrick 'Freddie' Ragno (a black-haired male with the form of a spider monkey) and Evelyn Rapp (a black-haired female with the form of a raven) met at her father's funeral, on a rather cold and dreary day, and clicked instantly. When Evelyn's mother saw how taken her young daughter was with the spider-like Fredrick, and how neither had found a bondmate, she arranged a marriage between them. Only a few weeks later, they were wed, and their parents demanded they have children immediately. (After a rather explosive fight over last names, they decided to merge- Ragno ('spider') and Rapp ('raven-like') coming to make Rappno.)
The first litter was born in spring, consisting of (in order): Carrie, a black and red haired girl with the animal form of a falcon, Casper, a white-haired male wolf, Regan, a white-haired female dove, Rosemary, a brown-haired female robin, and Harlow, a blonde male lion. Proud of their children, the happy parents presented them to their mothers, who approved of all the children then insisted they have more.
The second litter was born on the night of the gigantic family's event, All Hallows Eve. In order: Jett, a brown-haired boy with the animal form of a mule deer, Elvira, a green-haired female sloth, and finally, Blair, orange-haired, and the only feline to have ever been born into the family.
She grew up a disgrace to her family, who were all either canines or birds. They insisted that she was a curse, a cowardly cat who would never fit in with them.
Her mind grew twisted and warped, a child demented in the way that people thought her to be perfectly fine. The more her family neglected her, the worse it grew, and she started to pull harmful pranks for attention. A poisonous flower in someone's food, a trap timed to go off when one stepped past it...
Her family soon tired of her, and when she caused mischief, they went right after her. She was often beat brutally, brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles trying to teach her a lesson.
The darkness in her head worsened, and the routine went on for several months. On the day of their family reunion, she snapped.
The merged families tended to stay in their animal forms while having a reunion in the forest, so it was rather easy for the petite tiger to slaughter them in her blind rage.
The birds couldn't get to the air fast enough to escape her claws, and the few canines that were in her family had never dealt with a cat's strength, and had thusly fallen to her fangs and (in comparison to other tigers, weak) muscle.
When she awoke the next day, it was to the stench of her relatives' blood and the taste of iron on her tongue.
Even now, she avoids that part of the forest. Even now, she lives with the consequences of murdering everyone she knew.
With the death of her relatives, she moved back into the little home her nuclear family had hidden in the city. Now, she alternates between the cottage and the forest.
