Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Continuation from here and here.

Aislyn had grown rather desperate.
Through some sort of wretched type of sense, she’d decided that there had to be someone in her body. Presumably, someone who was usually a grotesque blue giant- and if the woman’s experience with blue giants served any pattern, said someone was not a very good person. Who knew how he was manipulating her body to serve his purposes? Her body was going to end up being murdered by Silencers before her mind got it back at this rate. But the thought of being stuck in this body- the body of a presumed monster- for the rest of her life was absolutely atrocious.

She’d spent six days as a fumbling, half-blind, half-deaf giant, and had not enjoyed it one bit. The little voice that now accompanied her everywhere had been a ruling factor in this lack of enjoyment, and, after the events of her first day in the new body, said little voice refused to let her leave the place she'd woken up in. The Cubacious Inn, which, ironically, wasn't all that bad of a place. Except when one couldn't leave it.

For the rest of that day and night cycle, she’d ignored all senses of the world, desperately regretting never learning how to meditate. Then, she began trying to draw. She’d run down every piece of charcoal in the monster’s home trying to find some source of entertainment before she could sleep again. But, eventually, all charcoal pieces break, and, of course, she ran out of paper. On the third day, she’d considered trying to sketch out drawings on the walls, but she wasn’t that crazy. Not at that point, at least.

The woman had also eaten what rations she could find within the room, and on the fourth day managed to ignore her hunger to avoid going outside to find food. But, by the fifth day of willingly putting herself through Hai, had finally gone out and gotten enough rations to get her through the next few days. Cheap things, of course, just in case she was in it for the long run.
That brings it back to desperation.

While she had been out, face hidden by a cloak that made her look shiftier than a murderer (which she still hadn’t ruled out as being her new body’s occupation) Aislyn started hearing things. Her decisions to take back routes and alleyways led her through rather secretive conversations that were easily overheard by a passing- if absurdly tall- shadow. Things about spies, who could find missing people. Or make people go missing, depending on your target.

On the seventh day, Aislyn had ventured out again. This time, out of desperation of a different kind. She needed to find her body, but couldn’t do so herself if she couldn’t bring herself to step into the sunlight. So she took a chance, and sent out a request for a spy.
It gave her a headache thinking that the person she’d have to describe was not Maya, not Thief, but Aislyn. It took her nearly a bell to decide what information she could spare, and what she would have to omit.

I’m looking for a woman who has gone missing. Her hair is a long, brown, eyes a dark black, and face angular. Her stature is short, around five feet of height, and lives in a home that’s gone missing as well. The home will have a sign in the window, a strange pattern that is made of many pictures within a circle. It is a glyph, and very easy to spot. That’s your best chance at finding her. I cannot tell you much else about her, but I pray to Ionu you can locate what I seek. Bring her to the Cubacious Inn if you find her, but don’t harm her body. I wish you luck.

It made Aislyn sick to her stomach describing herself in such a way. It sounded like a kidnapping plot, not a rescue mission. And what was she going to do when- if- her body was brought back? Hope that, with enough prayers to Ionu, her body would be returned to her and whatever monster that had stolen her form in the first place would be sent back from whence it came?

It didn’t matter, anyway. As soon as her message was sent, there was no chance of retaking it. All that was left to do was sit in the Inn and stare out the window, praying to any god that would listen that her body, hopefully unharmed, walked by.
