Image

Appearance:

Tisk is unusually tall Zith female at 63 inches while weighing at only 95 pounds with a slender and lithe frame. While she remained coltish due to adolescence previously, her body has hardened and matured into a combination of feminine beauty and ferocious strength. A fur that resembles mahogany suede envelopes her in such a fine layer that it could be mistaken for skin upon first glance. At the elbows and knees, the deep red-brown layer thickens and lengthens with streaks of ebony with the existing hue. Hands and feet taper to blackened claws with the strength to sever flesh and bone with ease. Wings large and monstrous protrude from her back as if carved from burnt leather and obsidian. When left wrapped around her shoulders, the tips nearly touch the earth but can be easily folded in a tight formation on her backside.

Tisk is an exquisite beauty with sensuous features matched with sharp angles. Her heat-shaped face, defined jawline and high cheekbones all radiate power with fangs hidden behind closed lips until needed. Her eyes are hooded and upturned with hints of wickedness, amusement and cruelty echoing throughout her gaze. The eyes are colored black with a ring of lava red encircling the iris with thick eyelashes accompanying them. Tisk's lips are sensuous in form but are often seen flashing bloodied canines and feral smiles. A curtain of ebony is always secured high in a horsetail atop her head, with the tendrils drifting past where flesh becomes leather at her shoulder blades.

Character Concept

I stopped fighting my inner demons...we're on the same side now...

Tisk displays inexhaustible bouts of deep passion and anger like any full-blooded member of the Zith race. Where she differs is her flippant attitude and cruel sense of humor that drive her to challenge the character and strength of those around her. Her wicked tongue, clever mind and feral grin are a permanent fixture of her character. That terrifying grin only intensifies as her anger grows, making her seem crazed when attacking others. Tisk has an unnatural ability to contain her rage until she develops the most satisfying way to even the score. While she lacks the explosive temper that most Zith possess, she releases her rage in sadistic ways. The more she displays that wicked smirk, more ferocious her anger grows.

Tisk believes in challenging oneself in battle and life to push past established boundaries in order to become stronger. She enjoys witnessing challenges occurring to others to learn the strength of their character as well. Her sadism and mischievous mannerisms make her dangerous to herself and anyone in the vicinity.

Tisk is a creature completely enthralled with embracing new experiences with no fear to the point of recklessness. She craves the knowledge of the environment around and beyond her, especially of different cultures across Mizahar. Tisk travels in a family group of Zith merchants to quench her curiosity. Her goal is to sample all the traditions of other races and cultures that are present in this world.

What is important to note about Tisk is while she was born and raised in Castle Xy, she is a true mix of the 'civilized' mannerisms of her birthplace and the barbaric characteristics of the Zith in Din. While she currently practices and employs the art of husbandry among slave labor, Tisk has experienced the nature of Din. During a journey along the Cyphrus-Eyktol border, Tisk observed and practiced within the culture that feasted upon humans instead of using them for slave labor. After experiencing the man-eating ways of the Din, Tisk saw more use for the human race as slave labor and no longer consumes the flesh of man for nutrition. However, the slaves that encounter her keep themselves quick-witted and obedient in case the wicked vixen decides to feast upon a useless slave one day.

The entire story of her encounter with the Zith of Din is located in Character History.

Clan Migration Pattern

Spring Months:
In the warm months, clans sticks to the eastern border of Cyphrus close to Riverfall. This is the time in which Endrykas is also in the region and presents the clan with the challenge of capturing a member of the Drykas clan for slave labor. It is a rare thing and often results in the death of a tribe member, however a Dryka slave is valuable among Zith colonies.

Summer Months:
During this season, the clan continues toward the southern region of Cyphrus near the Eyktol border. This time is mostly spent meeting other Zith colonies residing in the Southern region or up into The Sea of Grasses. They journey north between the coastal region of Zindal Bay and the eastern border of the Sea of Grasses, trading slaves and merchandise with other Zith colonies throughout these months.

Fall Months:
During the fall season, the clan rejoins the Zith colony of Xy near the northern Sylira border. Since this colony has no official currency, the clan barters their newly captures slaves and merchandise for materials specific to Castle Xy that Zith throughout Cyphrus. This includes slaves, art, Salialana, and other vegetation specific to life within caverns. In return, the clan brings foreign materials Castle Xy does not have access to.

Winter Months:
During the coldest months of the year, the clan leaves Castle Xy for the swampy marshes of Kenash. Being that Kenash's climates rarely wavers from lukewarm in winter months, the clan finds capturing slaves or other wild game specific to this area simple. The clan hunters might also make long trips into the northern parts of the Sea of Grass to hunt rare game like glassbeaks.

While Tisk's life has remained within the predictable travel schedule of her merchantile family group, there have been moments in her life in which Tisk's life has strayed from the family group.

During the summer months when the tribe was near the Cyphrus-Eyktol border, Tisk learned of the secretive culture of Din.

After a night of successful hunting, Tisk was returning to the camp when she encountered a Zith female. However, this Zith female was bare with the ragged look that spoke of a purely animalistic nature. Threatened by her presence, the stranger attacked Tisk in a rage and they battled until the sun began kissing the horizon. Tisk broke away, feigning that her injuries were far more grave than they actually were. The stranger, mortally wounded and believing she had ended Tisk's life, flew back to her camp on haggard wings. Tisk slyly crept after the injured Zith until the female reached the hunting camp of Din-raised Ziths. In the group, there were a dozen young Zith children along with a handful of female Elders. As the stranger appeared before the Elders and hunt leaders, they screeched in feral rage and killed the female for her weakness. Tisk observed the hunting group for two nights and three days, just barely out of sight and undetected as she used native herbs to heal her battle wounds. Her skills in stealth allowed her to observe the primitive hunting patterns of the Din clan.

Tisk witnessed as they killed wandering humans swiftly and prepared their flesh for feasting. They demonstrated skills that 'civilized' Zith no longer employed when capturing prey, and Tisk uses those techniques when capturing slaves to this day. As the night fell and the strange Zith became dead to the world as sunlight ruled over the lands, Tisk forced herself to stay awake and creep through their camp undetected.

During those three days, Tisk used every ability she possessed to silently invade the Din camp and sample their wares. Excited to embrace every life experience thrust upon her, she ate the flesh of man and reveled in its taste. She was even able to cut off a lock of a child's blood spattered hair as a trophy during a drowsy day. Tisk made the decision to return to her own migrating camp to avoid detection when a Zith Elder accused and killed a Zith child for eating more than her share of man flesh while the rest slept.

Tisk found her way back to her migrating camp with a barely healed leg from the Din Zith's claws. Her own tribe nearly killed her upon her return and they would have succeeded had Tisk not been able to defend herself so well. They allowed her to live although she still bears the scars from an Elder's claws on her right arm.

While it seems that Tisk has not experienced much in her 10 short years of life, her life experiences revolved around the constant change of scenery and enemies that the clan encounters. Before now, Tisk has been in a position of limited power, due to age and status. Now, Tisk is finally considered a full-fledged Zith adult and will soon expand her role from merely hunting to becoming involved in trade negotiations. Tisk is now a Zith woman, mature in body and mind. This is when her life truly begins.

Heirloom: Tisk's mother, Marrow, owned and created a necklace that Tisk wears to this day. Marrow joined the family group after she mated with an Elder of the Zith tribe that roamed Cyphrus with the intentions of trade between the clans of Zith and outsiders. Not long after they had set up camp in the region of Riverfall for slave harvesting, she fought and killed a Dryka female who thought to earn status among her clan by taking the wings of a Zith.

Unknown to the Drykas, Marrow made off with a lock of the Dryka's thickly knotted hair. She used the black strands to create a braided necklace of bone and hair. When Marrow was killed during a mating ritual in Castle Xy, Tisk kept the necklace due to is fine make. Tisk especially enjoys wearing this necklace when encountering Drykas since the knotwork in the hair is clearly of Drykas make. It excites her to disturb and enrage other beings. She has also added the hair of a Zith child of Din into the braid.
