Coryn Woodhull Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 24 Birthday: 491AV Summer 70 Birthplace: Mithryn Appearance: Standing at 5ft 10 and weighing 150 pounds. Coryn is a lean human and uses this to his advantage whenever he can particularly while hunting, being light on his feet. Being outside a lot Coryn has obtained him a slight tan on his face and hands but it stops at his wrists. In the past Coryn has had short hair but when his friend dies he took a vow to not cut his hair until he sees his friend again. His eyes are a shade of hazel green, his hair is a shade of brown. Coryn does not like facial hair because he was bullied for it as he was a early bloomer as none of his peers had facial hair when he did but he can grow a glorious beard which will keep him warm though the winter. Coryn has a lot of spare time on his hand which he fills with hunting and whittling, which he keeps and collects, has a big collection of statutes. Coryn wears a hooded cloak which the hood is usually up to hide his face, due to his depression and losing confident when his childhood best friend was takes too soon. He has a concealed blade within his jacket. Character Concept Trees, wolves and the quiet of the woods these are the companions that Coryn spends most of the time with, but this was not always the case. Coryn is a simple fellow with simple needs, he owns the things he need to live nothing more nothing less. Fiona (aka Fi) Coryn best friend was an active wild child which filled Coryn mind with dreams on becoming hunters together and running away to leave farmer life behind. As Coryn has been brought up in a farming family he has a very basic education which allows him to read and write but that the extent of his education. If you were to meet Coryn you would think that he was distant, a bit cold with not much to say but little do they know his quiet demeanor is a result of his painful past which he does not like to bring up. If you were to bring it up and you were male he would become very defensive of it but if you were female he would be more willing to talk about it because his mother was very kind, warm, loving and warm to him while his farther was very cold and distant to him. This means that he now finds it hard to submit to male authority. Coryn enjoys being on his own, collecting his whittling. He likes nature and the peaceful environment it has to offer. Coryn has been brought up as a single child and in a small outpost which has made him quite sheltered. Coryn does not like being in big groups he starts to get anxious, like getting shakes and cold sweats but he is fine in small groups. This makes Coryn dreads going into the city but he will on occasion when its necessary but only then. While Coryn has not been subject to many people in his life the people he has been subject to has made him find it difficult to trust people mainly males, he seems to think that he need to prove himself to them and they are always trying to outdo him to belittle him. He wants to trust people so he is more open to women and trusting them then males. While Coryn is very gloomy person this was not always the case he used to be a wild child like his best friend Fi. If Coryn gets too upset, he will go to the woods bringing his whittled statute with him, it gives him great comfort and keeps him on track of his goal which is to fine Fi. Coryn sometime travels home to see his mother only when he knows his farther will not be there so he can spend some quality time together. Character History Coryn was born in 491AV Summer 70 1991. He was born to two farmers they were called Heather and Jake Woodhull when they had Coryn they were at the old age of 35 so Coryn did not get to do many things with his parents like play games because one they were too busy working on the farms and when they were done for the day they did not have the energy so play with Coryn. Coryn did not have a great relationship with his farther because Coryn as a child he was always the smallest, he was like the runt of the litter of his peers he was the slowest, smallest and not as quick thinking. This could be because of his parents being so old when they had Coryn so his farther was never really that loving to him but in his mother’s eyes Coryn was the best and only child she would even want; Heather would spend all of her spare time with Coryn trying to develop him to try to get his farther to notice him but all of her efforts were in vain. Being that Coryn was a smallest in his peer groups Coryn was prime target to be bullied by other like calling him names and physically hurting him but there was one person in his group called Fiona who would tell the others to stop it but she would not really do anything about it she would just passive say ‘you guys should not do that’. One day the group were doing eh normal picking on Coryn again but this time Fiona had enough of this so she just when over to Coryn and took him away from the group and showed that not everyone is a cruel as them. This warmed Coryn’s heart and reinforced that it was the women in his life that he will care for and respect and the males will get less respect from him. Coryn and Fiona would spend most of the time that they had together just playing in the woods of helping on the farm, Coryn did not mind working on the farm if Fiona was there. As Coryn was getting older Fiona and he could see that Coryn was developing much quicker than most of their peers so this gave them even more ammunition to use against him as well as him taking Fiona away from the group which they did not like. When Coryn was getting into his teenage years he decided to start picking up a hobby he tried a lot of thing but he settled on whittling in the future thought of making something for Fiona he was not that good to start off but he was slowly getting better with everyone he did. As Coryn and Fiona were spending more and more time with one another, Coryn was definitely falling for her but he never knew if she felt the same so he never said anything because he did not want to lose her. Coryn decided to make Fiona a statute of her face so he did and he gave it to her and she love the gift and gave Coryn a big hug and you’re the best friend I could ever have. When Coryn and Fiona became 18 they both decided together that they would try to make it in the big wide world together and become hunters so they both packed their bags but Coryn’s parents saw him doing this his mother was in shock and asked were does he think he is going, Coryn told her what he was going to do and she started to cry and say that you cannot do this and asked his farther to stop him but his farther did not even look at him and left the room. Coryn reassured his mother that she will never leave his mind and will always be a thought in this mind and will always have a space in his heart. Coryn then gave her a hug and kissed her and said goodbye mother then he left to find Fiona where they said they would meet. As Coryn got to eh decided place where Fiona should have been he found the statuette that he made for her many years ago on the floor, he thought that this was very strange because she would never leave this behind on her own choice, he shouted out for her but to no avail. Coryn waited there for what felt like days but she never turned up. Coryn when to the only place he found comfort which was the woods he stayed there for as long as he could until he had to go back home which he was welcomed with open arms by his mother but his farther make snarky remarks like I knew you could not do it I knew you would come back with your tail between your legs Coryn just told them everything though his tears. His mother was very understanding and just comforted her child but his farther was not accepting. Months when passed and Coryn would keep his hopes high hoping that Fiona would come back to him but she never did. Coryn got very depressed by this so he when on auto pilot but he would keep his hunter skills up to scratch by hunting in the woods, and when he would kill a creature of the wood he would always try to kill it as quick as he could to try and stop the suffering and when the creature was dead he would pray to Caiyha the goddess of Flora and Fauna thanking her for the gift he is about to take and he would always use all of the creature even the bones, most of the time he would just help with the farm. For six year Coryn would just help his parents and just go out hunting but one day a traveling merchant came to town and Coryn was very excited about this and he when to the town and tried to get to talk to his which he did and they were talking in the nearby tavern were Coryn told him his story about Fiona and how she just left him behind of even worse she was kidnapped and murdered. The traveling merchant asked Coryn many question bout this and Coryn answered him, then the traveling merchant had this look of greatness on his face when his remember about this story he herd form a guy who heard it from another guy that when people die their should go to a place somewhere but he told Coryn that he does not know if it is true and he has no idea where it. Coryn’s eyes lit up and he did not care that it might not be true he just wanted to know that she was ok and maybe see her for just one more time. Coryn runs home and tells his parents about this which his farther asked if he is stupid and his mother is supportive because this is the first time that Coryn smiled since Fiona left.
