The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Winter of 50th out of 92nd

[indent]Days had grown at a slow pace. Slower then one can possibly imagine. Perhaps as slowly as a snail or even a slug. Even both. Crisp chilled gusts of wind mixed with bundles of snowy speckles conjured within the fractures of the winter air. A small clay figure half constructed to appear as such as a fox, and half man. Small in many means, but gradually lardge with impressions and emotional aspects. Perched upon a man's shoulder as the two trekked through the quarter of Sahai. And avoided multiple interactions until they reached the main entrance of the city of Lhavit. The small clay like figure had encountered recently many gazes coming forth from each and every separate passerby.

Gazes of curiosity, content. Visages of uniqueness that each and every other person expressed. Their countenance equals many others who passed by, disgust, curiosity. Any of those improper expressions.

Tail, the Pycon. His clay figure sat stiffly with his back upright. He had all what he needed storrd within his abode. And with that, his belongings were few in count. Tail, could now feel the coins jiggling within his coin purse. The Kinas, currency for the
Region

Flick, the middle-aged man with light tinted brown hair, curled with bits of blonde concealed over. Asked of Tail, “Be careful, when your gone my friend. Your parents approve of this, yes?” Tail sighed a bit heavily. His Tail curved slowly about Flicks shoulder. “Yes, I spent the whole day prior of today to just visit them. I hope they’ll stay alive whence I return. Hope is strong, and can also be heavily doubted upon oneself. Mind you, you take good care of them for me?” The Pycon explained and asked as he tilted his head to face the human.

“Oh yes, always.” Flick announced. His footsteps echoed dimly as it was merely muted by the noises of other commoners and their very own light tapped footsteps. Syna’s light shown heavily as it draped over Lhavit and the city’s quarters. Tail groggily sat upright. His fox-carved tail swooped and swished heavily. The thought of his family appeared to be hard on him. “You sure you can handle them. They can be quite a handful. Though, they’ll probably need to be checked on once in awhile.” Tail explained soothingly. “Yes, fully. We’re almost there. To the gates. I’ll catch you a caravan and you can be well set off. Got all the things you need?” Flick asked hopefully. “Ah, yes. Everything.” Tail slightly chuckled he smirked a bit and the thoughts of Flick feeling concerned for the little Pycon, amused him and roused up his spirits lightly. “Alright my friend. Let’s go get us a caravan. One willing to get you too Alvadas. At most hopefully.”

A few chimes later, the two mustered to discover at least one caravan heading out to Alvadas. A young women. Roughly around her twenties, had led the group. Per said. Though, she was merely the representor of her caravan. Brown curled hair below her muscled shoulders. Leather clothing, for light protection. A dagger sheathed at her waist. Tanned skin outlined her abode and she looked ready for any battle. Flick stood in front of her, and she was simply guarded by two other men roughly of the same size and height. Twins perhaps. “Yes?” She asked. “This would be the one joining your caravan. His name is Tail. And he would love a ride to Alvadas, if you please?” The woman scoffed and the two men chuckled. And Tail could feel the tension grow over the muscles of the man’s shoulders. Tail simply patted his shoulder with the clay hand. And gave a reassuring smile. Voice low in tone, the man spoke. “Yes. To Alvadas if you may. Can you do it?” Flick asked gingerly. The woman raised her hand and spoke. A heavy accent in Myrian hinted through. “Yes… He may. Tail can come with us. Pay 15 Kina… For ride.” Flick nodded his head. And a simple hand gesture followed through his right pocket. Just enough for the ride. “Tail won’t need much to eat. Since he has what he needs already with him. And Pycons as you know, can resist the weather. At most.” Flick announced as he handed the 15 Kinas. “There you go. 15 Kinas. Though, he won’t mind riding on one’s shoulder.” The Myrian Woman nodded. “My name be, Kailulu.” She spoke and gestured her head towards her shoulder. “Best ride with me. No one else will harm you…” Kailanu spoke. “I be heading to Alvadas to. Perhaps stay awhile.” She replied.

It was Tail and his turn to speak. His volume was surpassingly low, due to the modest nature of the Pycons. “Thank you. Kailulu. For the great deed you’ve done for me.” Kailulu simply nodded and smirked. “No deed has been done yet. This is just the start of our journey. Yours… Mostly.” The Myrian spoke in return. “Now, let us be off. Alvadas we go.” Flick gently picked up Tail and placed him carefully on top of of Kailulu. And the caravan instantly packed and gathered their things to set off. Tents and all. Were packed upon wagons behind their stallions. And a few strapped packs on the backs of the horses. There was an account of five-ten men. And women. Most Myrian. Other than that, they were human mostly, from what Tail could tell. But, he tried to calm his nerves in using Auristics. It is not time to use it. He can always read their auras later. “See you soon, my good friend Flick. Stay safe.” Flick nodded, and smiled. Soon after, he turned and stepped away back to his place of home. With the horse’s hooves clapping and tapping, the caravan was soon gone as well, and headed out of Lhavit.

OOCWill work on the speech. And this thread will continue once I get my NPC accepted. :)

"I'm learning to be an Aurist."Tail explained soothingly, a tone low in volume as the Pycon spoke. The caravan trekked through the hills of Lhavit as ticks slowly passed."Oh really? "The Myrian pronounced with a bit of shock in her voice. Though, held mostly a calmed demenur. Tail nodded slowly as he did a simple intake of his surroundings about him. While he sat perched on the woman's right shoulder.Trees outlined the Holley pathways all about making the trip difficult for the horses. They Pycon shifted slowly to find the comfortability that he needed while sitting. Kailulu glanced at him with a low smile. Still, she seemed to appear as curious.

" What exactly is you, I ask may?"The Myrian asked with a heavy accent in her tone."I'm a Pycon. Not the only one, no. In fact there are a possible account of millions or even billions of us. I'm not so sure exactly."The woman nodded. Her almost dark skin gleamed against Synas light as it pretruded through the haze if trees and hillsides. The sun was still up and awake, though slightly over the horizon as it stood within the sky.

Everything was owned by either a God or a Goddess. Or that was how Tail had interpreted it. There was everything that symbolized from one God to another. Be it travels or even a simple thought. Or at least a simple thought."You made of clay are you?"The woman asked as gingerly as possible. Tail nodded and replied hospitibaly."Yes, made of clay and formed from Alchemy. Though, I was borne from my mother. She's one of us as well. A Pycon. So is my father."

Another horse rider came in stride with the two."Ms. Kailulu. The others were wondering and myself as well, if we could rest the horses and serve supper? It is getting fairly late after all, and it's not to safe to travel out in the dark, who know what lurks out behind the shadows?"The male asked as he waved his hands about in testimony. His hairs appeared as a shaggy mop, auburn coloured and a body build to look as if he was some heavy weight champion. Simple clothes swathed under a leather vest and leggings.

"I presume, may we rest here. Best for now."She replied hastily. She clicked her heels on either side of the stallion, and clicked her tounge. The greyed Zavian stopped within its tracks and knickered with disgust. As if to say it wanted to trek on more. Bit Kailulu managed to pet the manes neck. It sighed and huffed. The others' stallions stopped as well and they continued their conversations.

Most of which were about Tail and his appearance and physique. But, Tail attempted to ignore the rough statements about him. Though, he didn't take them to heart as he knee that the lot of them were suspicious and surely curious. A half a chime later, the caravan had settled with camping tents that fit for four. But, with Tail he doesn't occupy much room and of course he can eat and sleep and that was something of essential for the Pycon.

Tail sat on a log prepared for seating as a few of the caravan members gathered the wood in order to set ablaze. "Tail, you know how to set fire. I can show you how."The Myrian ushered. She gestured the Pycon towards the central portion of the seating area."One take flint and steel. Cliklck. Metal creates fire."Tail watched a bit intently, but he dared not to step as close as Kailulu.

The sun was well rested below the horizon, with the moon coming up in return. Slowly it would creep up over the mountains of Lhavit. A light sounding sizzle echoed from the flint and steel. And fire had quickly aroused from the wooden sources used for the fumes. The fire cackled lightly as it chipped away a few pieces of bark here and there."You see. Easy. Like squashing a bug with fist."She announced with a smirk over her face.

Two of those who had helped Kailulu registered what she said and smiled. Sheepishly though. Tail smiled back with a look of registered confusion. He nodded simply as he stood by the side of the Myrian. A bit still to timid of being near her. Since she is a Myrian at account."Tents prepared?"She asked the nearest member.

"Yes all set. Dinner will be soon prepared at that other campground Kailulu."The male replied with haste. As he pointed towards the right of them. An account of two fire campsites trickled with glowing orange light that rose up into the depths of the sky."Very well. How much more time?"The Myrian asked Cooley. To show a supportive side with distaste.

"Less than a half Bell ma'am."The Myrian turned to face Tail as she lowered her head a howl came abrupt. "I guess we're not the only ones with hunger at hand."
"It's not where the journey takes you. It's where you take the journey."

Tail whimpered a bit in cowardness. And staggered back and fell over a twig behind him. If he were only large. He could do most things others can do, but he would've greatly appreciated the height. Though, being tall also has a lot of flaws as well. "Come now. Me place you on shoulder best have warrior on your side of the bar and not the predator."The Myrian pronounced with a slight smirk.

He groggily stood up and his tail whipped about with anxiety and half of fear. Kailulu picked him up gingerly, but swiftly as she steadied him ontop of her left shoulder. "Marina"The girl screeched. The Zavian galloped and the Myrian swooped right on top of the horse and lightly yanked on the reins. She clicked her heels against the sides of the stallion and clicked her tounge twice with ease.

Kailulu had wanted to get rid of her boredom. And killing the wolves would quite likely suffice her boredom. Only a few caravan members trailed behind with their horses. The others stood back and guarded the tents and the rest of the temporary campsite. The few who had accompanied Kailulu and the Pycon veered off and dispersed."Stay close."Kailulu snarled. Tail was merely frightened of the wolf, though the caravan were sensible enough at the moment to fear nothing, other than those whom stayed back at the camps.

The Pycon glanced back over his shoulder as he jumped up and down on the Myrians shoulder, little clay hands grasped lightly, but fiercely on the Myrians clothing. The fires behind him grew low and steady as the group trekked away. More howling came abrupt and if the group was sleeping Tail would only see the rest awoken dead beside him. And hopefully wolves aren't as intelligent enough to fully know how to kill a clay person. Though, they'll probably not fancy the taste of clay either.

Tail smirked a grin across his simple staring visage as he looked onwards towards the depths of the forestry landings. "Fun yet are you having?"The Myrian chuckled as her hair blew through the playful winds that blew about as the two ride."Define fun... Exactly."Tail replied a bit cooly. Though, it wasn't an intentional insult to the Myrian, but more likely an intentional simple-minded comment. He responded with the comment, a soothing smile that expressed more of sympathy.

There Myrian hadn't notice, for she was to intent on searching for the prey. Another howl. But, this one was far closer than the previous ones. A clearing opened up a free yards ahead. And one could see a wolf prowling about the shadows of the ring. Yellow tinted pupiled eyes enveloped the sockets with a mysterious visage."There it is. Mind you, stay here?"Kailulu asked as she set Tail on the stallion. She then took the reins and tied them loosely, but tight enough around so that the horse can't escape. Tail day crossed legged, and simply nodded in agreement. The Myrian crouched down and stalked towards the wolf around the clearing and possibly get a good advantage. While the horse knickered lowly, Tail did his best to calm the mare down. The Myrian trekked through the shadows.
