Winter of 50th out of 92nd
[indent]Days had grown at a slow pace. Slower then one can possibly imagine. Perhaps as slowly as a snail or even a slug. Even both. Crisp chilled gusts of wind mixed with bundles of snowy speckles conjured within the fractures of the winter air. A small clay figure half constructed to appear as such as a fox, and half man. Small in many means, but gradually lardge with impressions and emotional aspects. Perched upon a man's shoulder as the two trekked through the quarter of Sahai. And avoided multiple interactions until they reached the main entrance of the city of Lhavit. The small clay like figure had encountered recently many gazes coming forth from each and every separate passerby.
Gazes of curiosity, content. Visages of uniqueness that each and every other person expressed. Their countenance equals many others who passed by, disgust, curiosity. Any of those improper expressions.
Tail, the Pycon. His clay figure sat stiffly with his back upright. He had all what he needed storrd within his abode. And with that, his belongings were few in count. Tail, could now feel the coins jiggling within his coin purse. The Kinas, currency for the
Region
Flick, the middle-aged man with light tinted brown hair, curled with bits of blonde concealed over. Asked of Tail, “Be careful, when your gone my friend. Your parents approve of this, yes?” Tail sighed a bit heavily. His Tail curved slowly about Flicks shoulder. “Yes, I spent the whole day prior of today to just visit them. I hope they’ll stay alive whence I return. Hope is strong, and can also be heavily doubted upon oneself. Mind you, you take good care of them for me?” The Pycon explained and asked as he tilted his head to face the human.
“Oh yes, always.” Flick announced. His footsteps echoed dimly as it was merely muted by the noises of other commoners and their very own light tapped footsteps. Syna’s light shown heavily as it draped over Lhavit and the city’s quarters. Tail groggily sat upright. His fox-carved tail swooped and swished heavily. The thought of his family appeared to be hard on him. “You sure you can handle them. They can be quite a handful. Though, they’ll probably need to be checked on once in awhile.” Tail explained soothingly. “Yes, fully. We’re almost there. To the gates. I’ll catch you a caravan and you can be well set off. Got all the things you need?” Flick asked hopefully. “Ah, yes. Everything.” Tail slightly chuckled he smirked a bit and the thoughts of Flick feeling concerned for the little Pycon, amused him and roused up his spirits lightly. “Alright my friend. Let’s go get us a caravan. One willing to get you too Alvadas. At most hopefully.”
A few chimes later, the two mustered to discover at least one caravan heading out to Alvadas. A young women. Roughly around her twenties, had led the group. Per said. Though, she was merely the representor of her caravan. Brown curled hair below her muscled shoulders. Leather clothing, for light protection. A dagger sheathed at her waist. Tanned skin outlined her abode and she looked ready for any battle. Flick stood in front of her, and she was simply guarded by two other men roughly of the same size and height. Twins perhaps. “Yes?” She asked. “This would be the one joining your caravan. His name is Tail. And he would love a ride to Alvadas, if you please?” The woman scoffed and the two men chuckled. And Tail could feel the tension grow over the muscles of the man’s shoulders. Tail simply patted his shoulder with the clay hand. And gave a reassuring smile. Voice low in tone, the man spoke. “Yes. To Alvadas if you may. Can you do it?” Flick asked gingerly. The woman raised her hand and spoke. A heavy accent in Myrian hinted through. “Yes… He may. Tail can come with us. Pay 15 Kina… For ride.” Flick nodded his head. And a simple hand gesture followed through his right pocket. Just enough for the ride. “Tail won’t need much to eat. Since he has what he needs already with him. And Pycons as you know, can resist the weather. At most.” Flick announced as he handed the 15 Kinas. “There you go. 15 Kinas. Though, he won’t mind riding on one’s shoulder.” The Myrian Woman nodded. “My name be, Kailulu.” She spoke and gestured her head towards her shoulder. “Best ride with me. No one else will harm you…” Kailanu spoke. “I be heading to Alvadas to. Perhaps stay awhile.” She replied.
It was Tail and his turn to speak. His volume was surpassingly low, due to the modest nature of the Pycons. “Thank you. Kailulu. For the great deed you’ve done for me.” Kailulu simply nodded and smirked. “No deed has been done yet. This is just the start of our journey. Yours… Mostly.” The Myrian spoke in return. “Now, let us be off. Alvadas we go.” Flick gently picked up Tail and placed him carefully on top of of Kailulu. And the caravan instantly packed and gathered their things to set off. Tents and all. Were packed upon wagons behind their stallions. And a few strapped packs on the backs of the horses. There was an account of five-ten men. And women. Most Myrian. Other than that, they were human mostly, from what Tail could tell. But, he tried to calm his nerves in using Auristics. It is not time to use it. He can always read their auras later. “See you soon, my good friend Flick. Stay safe.” Flick nodded, and smiled. Soon after, he turned and stepped away back to his place of home. With the horse’s hooves clapping and tapping, the caravan was soon gone as well, and headed out of Lhavit.
