Brown eyes and brown hair at mid-length and at 5’7” he’s at the low end of average in height which can be a source of amusement to others . Beneath a clothing of a gray short sleeved shirt and brown britches he has a scrappy physique toned by basic labor and a life of travelling. Hygenically he's like the common Mizahar folk, relatively clean but sometimes can go days without a good wash. So when one sees him they can see the patches of dirt on his skin and the grease of his hair. On his chest he has a stab wound at the points just between his lungs and heart and a cut at the right base of his neck showing he’s no stranger to escaping death. Character Concept A simple human being is what Reisen was, but each strand of man is unique and so ‘simple’ is thrown out the window. Perhaps something that is more aptly descriptive of him would be this; ‘By the end of each day, I just hope for food, drink and a good bed’ They were his creed in life, from the time he would have been considered a young man he never wanted much out of life. He held little care for the world so long as it didn’t stop him from living day to day doing simple work and earn enough to continue travelling That doesn’t mean he’s an uncaring sort, he’s got some bit of morals, or what little living in Syliras gave him. He’ll help a man in need if he feels that the effort extended isn’t any skin off his back and might even go in as so far to defend someone. At the same time he doesn’t mind stealing from others if the situation warrants or his job at the time happens to involve some questionable intent. Times sometimes call for casting aside right and wrong to do what’s necessary for living after all. This can be attributed by an underdeveloped sense of morality from childhood that has hardened into a rough patch of clay. In a sense it can be shaped, but it would take signifacent effort to steer him in the desired direction. In ways it has been pulled back and forth in his travels, but never has it truly been cemented. Character History The Syliran born Reisen was the son of a dockworker and seamstress, both barely able to meets ends meet. His parents were the hard working sort with as much care as one usually expected one to give to their child. Problem came was that they were usually too busy to teach some morals in that lad and the times that is spent with their son was usually ones of bonding. It didn’t help that he was the rare quiet child who was well behaved, as merciful as it was for any parent it also meant they hardly ever had to be called in to discipline him nor for anyone else to do the same. So while he appeared a gentle and quiet lad there was so many things he hadn’t learned that the years to come were to be spent in distant apathy. When he became of young working age, his parents had him work in the stables for a bit to help earn some coin to ease their financial troubles, made easier by developing a slight fondness for the horses there. He spent those early years since then meandering from one menial task to the other, building up his physique slightly. At the same time he developed an interest in defending himself after getting caught up in a brawl, using his own meagre savings to buy himself a cutlass and invest in some boxing lessons. When he became of independent age at 18 and his parents had saved enough for themselves to live in meagre comfort, he decided to shove off. Calling it a long walk and without much planning jumped on the next caravan to elsewhere, often times he spent those travels helping to take care of the horses. The life was hard sometimes and outright deadly, sometimes the destination proved far more deadly than the journey. Through the years he’d been to Zeltiva, Sunberth, Nyka, and back to Syliras, never spending longer from a few months to a couple of years before moving out to another place. On his travels he’d gained a myriad of necessary skills along the way that he’s yet to refine. Now his travels have placed him in Kenash, forcing him to do what he does best; do whatever comes his way and hope for another tomorrow.
