Location Legacy Reef

The Sunken ship in the coast of the Suvan serves as housing for the aquatic races.

This lazy agricultural settlement rests on the swampy shores of the Middle Suvan at the delta of The Kenash River. The River's slow moving bayou waters have bred a different sort of people - rugged, cultured, and somewhat violent. Sprawling plantations of tobacco and cotton grow on the outskirts of the swamp in the rich Cyphrus soils, while the city itself curls around the bayou and spawns decadence and sins of all sorts. Life is slower in Kenash, but the lack of pace is made up for in the excesses of food and flesh in a city where drinking, debauchery, gambling, slavery, and overbearing plantation families dominate the landscape.

Legacy Reef

Image

Located two miles away from Shipwreck Beach a grand silhouette lies hidden beneath the waves. The handful of seafarers and Kenash gossips with any knowledge of the grand sunken ship still debate on how it had originally sank to the bottom of the ocean. Now, the vessel has long since become a natural site that has become intentionally modified into an ever expanding coral edifice by Charodae and other aquatic races who have chosen make their homes within its walls.

The center piece of Legacy Reef's is its large ship. It was formerly an old Galleon originally and ironically named 'The Last Legacy'. It still holds enough space to house its original two hundred crew members, and sixty passengers. The outer hull, every single deck, and the entire interior of the ship have been completely encased in beautiful coral by its Charodae inhabitants; everything except for the ships steering wheel which remains guarded by the ghostly captain of the ship.

The top deck of the ship was turned into a temple area dedicated to three gods: Laviku, Makutsi, and Caiyha. Each of the gods symbols are on display in the form of wonderfully crafted coral sculptures placed in a triangle around what is left of the the central broken mast. Caiyha's triskelion faces to the north west, Laviku's trident standing to the North East, and Makutsi's roiling waters pointing to the south.

The Charodae who live there happily invite any Konti or Akvatari who choose to visit a chance to make their home within the reef. Even members of non-aquatic races are invited to visit the reef if they are capable swimmers. The ship contains various rooms which have not been completely filled with water leaving pockets of air near some of the ceilings for non-aquatic or Akvatari to breath.

Additional Info:

Self proclaimed greatest captain to sail the Seas, Captain Vasily Krev is a long forgotten remnant of the past. People are never able to figure out what exactly happened to the ship , but, it is obvious that the Captain has never stopped trying to save it. Captain Vasily has long since gone mad in his undeath, often seen traversing the ship with a frantic or happy expression. He can no longer tell the difference between his long dead crew and or the aquatic residents of the ship. He treats them all like his family.

He can often be seen fully materialized, guiding through the corridors of the ship or during fits of his insanity positioned at the wheel of the vessel; spinning, twisting, and turning the wheel as if the grand vessel were still sailing the sea. Many have questioned that he himself had crashed the ship, but it is all just speculation. Whatever the cause of his lingering, there is one unspoken rule that all occupants of the Legacy reef know. And that is to never, ever, touch the captains wheel.

Likewise, he has also taken a liking to the Keeper of the reef. He believes the Charoda to be his loyal 'first mate' on his ship. And like an important member of his crew, the captain will protect her savagely when she is in danger.
