This lazy agricultural settlement rests on the swampy shores of the Middle Suvan at the delta of The Kenash River. The River's slow moving bayou waters have bred a different sort of people - rugged, cultured, and somewhat violent. Sprawling plantations of tobacco and cotton grow on the outskirts of the swamp in the rich Cyphrus soils, while the city itself curls around the bayou and spawns decadence and sins of all sorts. Life is slower in Kenash, but the lack of pace is made up for in the excesses of food and flesh in a city where drinking, debauchery, gambling, slavery, and overbearing plantation families dominate the landscape.

Situated in the tine Oarth Island, a small stone cottage rises amongst the pretentious buildings around it. The masonry of the Radacke is clearly seen in the architecture of the building, designed to last rather than require constant maintenance. It is well maintained, however, as it is one of the primal spots for tourists and residents to visit. Inside, both Freeborns and Dynasts work together to guarantee the safety of their clients while traveling the treacherous swamps, offering primarily Wilderness Guides, and Trackers for hire. Those skills are often present in some measure or another in every individual, for everyone employed inside works directly for a client’s wellbeing. The stone cottage itself is rather simplistic on the outside as it is on the inside. Presented as a loft without many walls to hinder the open space, salve for the restrooms located in the first floor which are indeed, separated.



In charge of Hoalus Ackina, utmost responsible for the well keeping of the building, he is also in charge of hiring and training every Freeborn of Dynast that wishes to improve their survival knowledge for the swamp. His workers usually have a free schedule, yet sometimes they don’t return to their homes for dozens of days due to special circumstances. Working in close relation with the Magistrate’s Office, the Swamp Survey Services are often tuned to the wishes and desires of each Magistrate. Thus, depending on the Magistrate and his politics, the workers could mostly be composed of wilderness guides on one season and trackers on the second. It is for this changing nature that most employees are expected to at least be competent in one those disciplines, while the rest is instructed to them or is taught with simple experience.

However, there is a function that the Magistrate’s Swamp Survey Services has never stopped doing: searching and destroying Rujaro. This function is unknown to most, yet the rumor has been through the city since the building was raised. This was the actual motive for the construction of the building, the rest of services offered being a mere façade made for further profit. Through regular scans and following rumors, the employees are bound to explore the nearby areas in which confirmed sightings of the Rujaro have been reported. The reports are then sent to the Magistrate’s Office, and depending on the findings Freeborn mercenaries will be dispatched or not to take care of the problem for a minimum cost.

Holding great contempt against the Rujaro, considerably more than any other Dynast, he's obsessed with hunting each and every last one of them. He is the responsible of obeying the Magistrate's orders, and trains his employees to survive the harshness of the swamps. His business mind consists of satisfying every need his clients or employers have, for their satisfaction is his brand of quality.

Employment
Freeborns can be employed as Wilderness Guides and Trackers. Wages according to the Price List.

Note that it is required to be competent in one of these skills to be employed here.


 
Training
Instruction is available for those willing to learn Wilderness Survival, Hunting, or Tracking, for the price of 20 GM per lesson.
